Best Places to Stay Near Bosco in città in Opera

This place definitely has its pro’s and con’s and it depends what sacrifices you are willing to make for price. Looking at other reviews I thought I wouldn’t mind it as I’m not too fussy usually but overall I felt uncomfortable and didn’t really want to stay any longer than I had to: Pro’s -Good cheap price -Whilst further out, it’s super convenient for public transport right outside the hotel only 2 euro to get into Milan only takes 30 mins tops -The man on reception was lovely and very helpful -Rooms are big and whilst very dated and nothing to shout home about if you’re used to budget travelling they aren’t filthy or falling apart -Nice big shower room -Fast, free Wi-Fi and slippers and towels Cons -We felt the area at times was slightly scary (although we did first arrive at night) some concerning characters/gangs in surrounding areas and appeared to be in the hotel as well. It’s a pretty rundown area and we didn’t feel very comfortable there -The walls - I’ve never known anything quite like it to be honest it was so so loud I could hear absolutely everything the entire time. Babies crying, doors shutting, people talking/shouting, playing music, stomps up the hallway - constantly and late into the night waking us up. This all added to the sense of un-ease as it didn’t seem like you were on your own and I couldn’t relax in the room and just wanted to leave. -We were also in an outhouse which wouldn’t usually be a problem but felt so exposed as it was that it just added to the feeling Despite all the positives we couldn’t look past these negatives and I really wouldn’t recommend regardless of price.

I stayed there before my flight. Rooms were clean and all staff friendly. Price was very good. I would book it again at any time. Breakfast was included in the price and coffee was good.

I´m not sure how it is like to stay at Ostelzzz for several nights, but I find it a very convenient solution for me who arrived around midnight in Milan, and already had leave from Milano Centrale by noon on the next day. I had a proper sleep for one night in a capsule. It really was a hostel, but with so much better privacy. Staffs were extremely kind and helpful. They gave me a welcome drink. Online check-in in advance made my actual check-in so much easier. Had everything I needed, incl breakfast, towel too. Clean and well-organized. Breakfast was simple, but more than good enough for me. I wouln´t hesitate to choose Ostelzzz next time.

The hotel was average, wouldn’t say it’s a 4 star hotel however. More like a 3 star hotel. It had everything you needed but nothing special or luxurious. The bed was comfortable and bathroom was clean, however the wood flooring in our room had black marks where furniture had scraped it badly. The curtains had been ripped and the heating in our room didn’t work properly, only the air con worked. The hotel is a bit far out from Milan’s tourist attractions so would be better to stay closer to Milan central where you have everything at walking distance. Although, the staff were lovely and welcoming.

A very friendly and very professional staff Director waiting and very available I felt special and I didn't miss anything so I would say you went and you will surely be very happy with excellent and complete breakfast of all kinds of food from Fruit of eggs and also with a great household salad to be cut on the cut. Extremely old and low quality building, no aircon and the air corculation is so noisy that it keeps you awake at night. This is by very very far the worst Crown Plaza we experience on the planet. And as response to this negative review you will passive-aggressively told that you are the problem and not the hotel, even though the place already has a comparably very low rating, rightfully so. To hotel: Our other hotel reviews are certainly none of your business, but improving the „hotel“ would be, which you obviously could not care less about. Just sad for the IHG brand, this turns out to be an absolutely mismanaged place and hurts the rest of the brand. Instead of spending time to read customer’s history reviews and trying to blame your own customers WITHOUT any solid reason, how about better to use such time to improve the hotel services, which a professional customer service that Crown Plaza should do. That’s also the job you should do as the hotel pays you for. Thank you!

Good service at reception. Had a problem with a room and it was changed. Comfy pillows: one sof and one hard. Relatively close to San Siro Stadium. Extra costs for breakfast or parking. Shower în bathroom. Air conditioning when working up to 26 degrees Celsius.

A warm and helpful welcome from staff at this location. Love the decor and spaciousness of entrance and our room and bathroom with true Italian shower. Best breakfast buffet on our 16 day tour of France and Italy! Huge selection of fresh food to suit all tastes/diets, beautifully presented. There's a choice of two restaurants across the garden, we dined at the Italian one, lovely food and great service (on right of fountain photo). Our very well behaved Staffie dog always accompanies us and was welcomed at both hotel and restaurant 10€ charge per night.
