Martiva Apartment

Nela our lovely host made us very welcome and couldn’t do more to be helpful. The view from our balcony was just beautiful and captured the sun all day. The apartment is about 15-20 mins drive away from Dubrovnik so we used the convenience of uber taxis. There is access to a lovely pebble beach below the apartment which is well worth tackling the 200+ steps to get to it. The apartment has everything you need although one drawback was the hand held shower. Great WiFi and aircon.

Nela was an amazing host. We thoroughly enjoyed our time in Dubrovnik. There was a bus stop about 5 minutes walk from the apartment and a pizzeria for nights when you don’t feel like going all the way into Dubrovnik town. The apartment itself was gorgeous and the balcony had the sun facing it the whole duration of the afternoon. And there was a small beach a 7 min walk from the apartment which was lovely and not as busy as beaches in the old town. The only 1 thing I will say is the shower head wasn’t attached to the wall so you have to hold it up when you want to shower. Overall 10/10 would highly recommend

Nila was a wonderfully considerate host right from the time of our arrival, we were greeted with hugs and welcomed with a bottle of Red, jug of juice and so forth. Throughout our four day stay she was informative, suggestive and caring with her little touch of hospitality (e.g. fruits, milk, little coffee packs). The apartment(s) are overlooking the breathtaking view of the sea and a lush orchard (Olives, Pomegranate, Figs etc). It had everything needed for a comfortable stay (working AC, small Fan, kitchen utensils, hand-wash, washing liquid and toiletries) . 5-7 minutes walk through the orchard is a beautifully secluded almost private beach. Five minutes walk from the apartment is a restaurant, supermarket, and a very convenient bus-stop from where everyday we took bus at Euro-2.90 each way to the Old city in 20 minutes and various other meeting points for our daily excursions (even though we originally thought of relying on taxi--Uber and Bolt operates within the city). I'm a frequent traveler mostly staying in 4-5* hotels, however for Dubrovnik, I would highly recommend anyone to book this property to experience a great stay facilitated by a superb host.
