It is such an average Croatian 3* hotel, it does not inspire, but it fulfills its purpose. Pleasant people at the reception, pleasant people in the restaurant, overall there are younger employees Its great advantage is its location, directly on the pebble beach opposite the pretty town of Vela Luka, to which a boat taxi goes directly in front of the hotel for €1, the option of full board with unlimited drinks throughout the day, free parking and quite fast wifi. I would highlight the incredibly tasty cuisine, the chefs cooked very good dishes, mainly Croatian, sometimes there were semi-finished products, but fortunately not very often. The advantage was unlimited drinks in the restaurant and bar, where you could also order local alcoholic drinks, wine and beer. Soft drinks were a little too sweet, but could be diluted with water or soda. Musical production twice a week on the hotel terrace. And with that, I would like to end the praise and let's go to the unpleasant reality: - the parking lot in front of the hotel is very small, literally a few spaces, you can also park on the road in front of the hotel, but mostly tourists from the apartments park there. - the rooms are older and you can feel it especially in the bathroom, which would urgently deserve a replacement of the sanitary ware - especially the shower cubicles and faucets. - if you're lucky, you'll also get a room with working air conditioning - we managed it only on the second try. - absence of an elevator and all rooms are on floors that can only be reached by a lot of stairs. - poorly ventilated common areas, full of cigarette smoke and the smell of alcohol from the bar, without air conditioning. - the constant smell of garbage in the corridors (the cleaners left the door to the yard open all day, where there were garbage bins). - a lot of insects and mosquitoes because the windows are constantly open and the light is constantly on. And now our story: We ordered a room without a balcony, park side because of the shade. We were given room 111, probably the smallest in the hotel, it was difficult to move in the room, the room smelled of smoking and the air was very stuffy. The room was incredibly overheated, without functional air conditioning, full of mosquitoes, with a leaking toilet and shower. We tried to stay one night, but the next day we had to complain about the room and ask for another one. Since the room did not have a working air conditioner, we had to ventilate the whole night, and since the room was right next to a lit corridor, the light attracted mosquitoes that flew into the room. Also, everyone who went up the stairs to the upper floors looked into our room. In the room there was an old TV with a non-functioning remote control and only German programs worked. The next day we complained about the room and got another "wonderful" but bigger room 175, which was located in the wing where the employees live, it was incredibly smoky, musty (which we managed to air out) with
