Hotel Savoy is one of the best hotel on Opatija due to its location. Beach Colosseum, the private beach of the hotel was fantastic, the rooms with balcony and see view are wonderfull and relaxing. Rooms are air conditionedl, the breakfast is delicious, the parking is absolutely comfortable. Thank you for amasing three nights in Opatija. I'll be back :)

A lovely hotel in a beautiful town, with gracious and helpful staff and pleasant, immaculate room. Breakfast was excellent. Opatija is a beautiful destination in Istria where we stopped on our way to Ravinj. A terrific introduction to Croatia!

Great position on seafront - easy to find and helpful receptionist told us where to park. Secure garage opposite hotel and payment at hotel on leaving. Comfortable room - kept clean and bed comfy. Breakfast excellent - good variety and pleasant room. Sun beds available where you can swim in sea easily. Pleasant walk along promenade both ways from hotel - plenty of bars/restaurants nearby. Only fault would be that hotel bar and terrace didn’t appear to open in evening but there are other bars open beneath the hotel. Absolutely no noise could be heard in our room at night from nearby nightclub. Thankyou for pleasant two nights.

It was our third time in Hotel Savoy and as always, we couldn't have chosen a better hotel. The staff is nice and helpful, breakfast is delicious and has a big variety of food (different kinds of ham, cheese, bread, bread rolls, fruit, jam, sausages, eggs, etc.). The beach is clean and isn't crowded. You need to pay for the sunbeds but it's worth it as they're clean and a normal distance from one other so you can have a rest, read a book or take a nap. The water is crystal clear and deep as soon as you get into it. We booked a standard room with partial sea view and a superior room with a sea view. The former one is of course smaller but you don't feel to be in a tin, the view is still beautiful to the sea. The latter one is spacious, light and has an amazing sea view. Both of them are spotless and in a very good condition. There're some loud bars in front of the hotel but thanks to the insulation, you can hear almost nothing at night. I'm a terrible sleeper and could still manage it on the first floor. Thank you Hotel Savoy for making our holiday so nice and peaceful. We'll definitely be back!

Nice small chick hotel near the sea, good breakfast, very good meals at the restaurant entered from the hotel, nice rather small rooms but with balcony opening at wonderful sea view. Beautiful terrace coffe bar

The noise from the nightclub below was unbearable. Great sea views, breakfast was ok but don’t plan on sleep before 2am! Great location. Staff were interesting and varied from amazing to verging on rude. The guy that got our bags from the car and then jumped into give me directions back to the car park was amazing but the receptionist who doubled up as bar staff was so rude when we asked if we could possibly have an extra room card!

This is one of the best 4* hotels I ever stayed in, whether in Europe, Asia, Africa or the US. It is located directly by and with access to the sea, and also has a good size indoor pool. Our "Superior Room with balcony and sea view" was excellent and quite spacious with magnificent views. Staff are outstandingly friendly and helpful, breakfast buffet is superb and also offers typical Croatian specialities such as truffels-creamcheese and prosciutto. The Spa staff are highly professional and knowledgable, both for beauty treatments and massages. However, there are minor areas for improvements such as larger towels in the bathroom, the lobby which is not particularly welcoming, breakfast serving hours (only until 10am), and slow WiFi. Overall, highly recommendable.

Stayed for two nights in deluxe seafront room. The view from room is wonderful and swimming off rocks below hotel is lovely. Breakfast is very good with plentiful choices. Rooms are ‘dated elegance’ but spotlessly clean and bed comfortable. Negatives: Wi-Fi is very patchy. Lobby is bland and bar area was always totally deserted. Not very welcoming. Lights were off early in evening so it was obviously not being used much. Beach towels required a deposit in cash -for a hotel with 4 stars these towels should be part of the room supplies. Lounge chair and umbrella 10euros a day. Again should be part of hotel room rate.

English: We stayed at the Hotel Savoy for three days during a trip to Opatija, chosen mainly for its strategic location: the hotel is located right above the clinic we had to visit, making it extremely convenient for our travels. Rooms: The rooms are a little small, but still comfortable and very clean. Breakfast: The breakfast is really excellent, with a very rich and varied buffet that satisfies all tastes. Services and staff: The staff is incredibly kind and helpful, and some also speak Italian, which was very helpful. One of the girls at the reception was particularly attentive, giving us excellent advice on what to visit in the area. Also, knowing that we had to leave at 5 in the morning, they prepared lunch boxes for us, an attention that we really appreciated. Pool and wellness: The indoor pool is fantastic, complete with jacuzzi and with the possibility of taking advantage of massages and other wellness treatments. Negative notes: The only negative point is the club located below the hotel, which on some evenings organizes events with music, making it a little difficult to sleep for light sleepers. Conclusion: Overall, the great location, the kindness of the staff (also in Italian) and the services offered make up for the small defects. Recommended for those looking for comfort and relaxation with a little extra attention!
