It was a excellent stay... Food was very good and people are very courteous and made our stay more memorable......The rabbit and fish feeding was fun... The pony was cute and the spa was really rejuvenating We will plan another to Savoy soon...

Staying here was like stepping back in time. We stayed for 2 nights on our trip to Ooty. The hotel is from a bygone era , you really get an insight of this with all the photographs of the Royal Family when they stayed here back in the day. The property has got all its original features but is desperately in need of some love and attention to preserve it. We had no complaints about our room - large and airy , with a little sitting area and big bathroom. All the furniture was in keeping with period of the property. We found it to be very clean but because there is some dampness in the bathroom there are some marks on the ceiling. The food was very good , we had dinner one night and just a simple breakfast is as our choice, but there seemed to be a good choice for others. The few staff were very friendly and helpful. They were trying so hard to give good service but we could tell they were under a little pressure from other not so satisfied and demanding guests. I actually felt quite sorry for them. If you decide to stay here do not expect modern luxury of chain hotels and try to keep an open mind. We think you will probably forget some of the modern hotels you will stay in , but like us you will never forget your stay here ! I would say to the owners of this hotel you have great staff but you need to make some investment in your property before it’s too late. It could be an absolute gem and the star of Ooty.

Excellent Resort, away from the city rush. The rooms and Bathrooms are clean, Jaya ji at the reception was always helpful. Overall we had a 3 night pleasant stay, with a beautiful view.

Ngapkhao, maam was the best for the kid She hosted my kid with such nice love and warmth hardly would recommend anyone travelling her to meet her and over all the resort, food and ambience is die to for. And the property is very clean and well maintained

Hotel location is good......Common areas are well maintained however the rooms are not as reflected in photograph on the website....Restaurant is not well ***aged although the staff is good but I feel there is a lot of scope for improvement. ...Buffet breakfast is good....Biryani taste was good....Food in general was good...Had to wait for more than 30 minutes for the hotel staff to transfer my luggage from room during checkout.....There was a lot of difference between the price as mentioned on trip.com and directly with hotel.....Trip.com was less for the same Privilege Suite....

My Name is Froid and we, me and my wife Simmy stayed in Fortune Sullivan Court, Ooty from 06 October 2023 untill 08 October 2024. This stay was one of the best stays ever. I owe the credit to this to the staff of the hotel and the location of the hotel itself. The hotel is located at a very strategic point which is close to the commercial area. It is located right next to the Rose gardens. The Hotel is very beautiful and calm. This hotel has been featured in many Indian movies. It was featured as actor Vijay's home in Germany in one of the movies. However, the hotel is nestled amongst the dense vegetation of Ooty which brings peace and tranquility to oneself. Talking about the distance and the time taken, you can walk to the the Rose gardens. It would take you around 5 to 8 minutes to reach the Rose gardens. It would take you 2 minutes by car. You can walk to the commercial road which is 15 minutes by walk and 5 to 8 minutes by car. Ooty bus stand is 15 minutes by car It is quite cold at the hotel and one might want to carry ***** with them the required clothing to keep yourself warm. Food is great. It has an awesome breakfast buffet which has a range of dishes from Indian to continental. The hotel staff assisting the buffet are friendly and courteous. You would be walking out with a hefty tummy. The hotel has a water hole by the name of Selbourne's bar. It's a very tranquill place to sip your whisky. Satish and his team were very good at hosting us for every evening. The hotel reception is very cozy and warm. The lighting is so which makes you feel cozy. The reception staff was very courteous and friendly. Monica, the duty manager was very helpful in all the queries that I had and had assisted us in many ways. She even went out of the way to print my work related documents as I was working at every available instance. Mr Elangovan, the hotel security staff was an ex para trooper who was very friendly and helped us with the places that can be visited around the hotel as also the attractions nearby. Mr John was a pianist who used to play his lovely piano. It's a treat to listen to him. He was very gentle natured and very well behaved. People used to get their guitars and mics and jam ***** with him. This was nothing less than a concert. The rooms are spacious and very well arranged. This place has business center as also meeting venue. There are good recreational facilitate like table tennis and snooker. This place has a spa too. There is a gym for those fitness freaks. There are horse rides for everyone who craves for a ride. The horse and it's master is there everyday during the morning hours. Our stay in Fortune Sullivan court is unforgettable. We owe every minute of our happy stay to the great hospitality of the hotel staff. The entire credit goes to them. A hotel is nothing without their staff. It is unfortunate that I am not able to post this review on their hotel website. However, we shall stay again over there at any tim
