Staff is attentive & No complaint with the service, however the approach road is very bad specially in the monsoon, the room gets dirty with outside wet soil. Bathroom doesnt have a shower but do have geyser, bucket and Mug. I think room heaters can be provided if asked. Guest need to walk a little to arrive at an area for public transport, however market is in a walkable distance. The poor review is mainly because of the bad road.

Woodberry residency is located at a convenient location within Ooty town. Nearby attraction is the government botanical garden and ******* market mostly run by locals.  The small patch of road ascending to the property was a bit incovenient to navigate especially when approaching from the town. Parking space with roof is available at the property. I had booked two rooms for three nights.  Both were front facing and provided good view of the misty green hills. The morning sunshine falls right on to the front balcony. The price was a bit expensive since it was the Christmas/new year vacation period. Rooms were well maintained and cleaned daily. Welcome kit containing basic toiletries was provided by the staff. The property has a terrace on top which offers a panoramic view of the East Ooty. The manager and staff were very accommodating and friendly. Room service was available on call/WhatsApp. Although it was a bit slow but the staff ensured that our needs were fulfilled.  Food with limited menu was available. The price was reasonable and taste was really good. Outside food was allowed and could be ordered online. For sight seeing the manager referred us a taxi service. While we relied on the taxi service our car remained parked at the property for three days.

Helpful manager chandra took care of all the requirements. The room was clean and we were provided amenity kits. Room had a lovely view of ooty. The hotel is quite near to the botanical gardens without being in an overtly market area. Overall, would recommend this to all.

The room is little bit old, but still it's fine for night stay. Staff behaviour and management is really good. Food is also decent.

The stay was excellent. The hospitality was top notch. They serve home cooked food which is very nice and the rates are very nominal. I would recommend this one for families who would love to have a fantastic stay with a beautiful view.

We booked a stay with three rooms. While two of the rooms were satisfactory, one room fell short of expectations. The room was not clean or properly maintained. There were cracks on the walls, with peeling paint in some areas. Additionally, the floor appeared dirty due to a prior leakage from the toilet, even though there is no active leakage at the moment. The overall condition of the room needs improvement to match the standards of the others.

Room is neat and clean. Food also very good. Mr chandra manager is very helpful to guest. It's plesent stay.
