We stayed at Mountain Retreat, Ooty from May 17th to 20th and had a truly relaxing and peaceful experience. The highlight of the stay was the stunning view of the Ketty Valley—absolutely breathtaking. In a hill station, choosing a valley-facing location makes all the difference, and this resort is perfectly situated to let you enjoy the natural beauty all around. The rooms and the resort were clean and well-kept, and the ambiance was calm and soothing. It’s an ideal place if you’re looking to unwind, disconnect, and just enjoy nature without the hustle of too many activities. The food was delicious, and the staff were extremely courteous and helpful, adding to the overall comfort of the stay. One small point to consider: since the resort is built on a mountain slope, there’s a bit of a walk from the parking area to the rooms, which might be slightly challenging for senior citizens. However, this is due to the natural hillside layout and is understandable. Overall, Mountain Retreat is a fantastic spot for a peaceful getaway in the lap of nature. Highly recommended!

Property is well maintained and the view was awesome. Staff were courteous and friendly. Food menu was limited but prepared fresh as per request. Breakfast spread was good too. Rooms were bit gloomy but all amenities are provided as mentioned. Location is also very good and less crowded. Overall, had a memorable stay at the resort.

The property is in the best possible location in the Ooty with a really good view. Friendly and helpful staff. The restaurant can improve the menu, taste and increase breakfast options.
