Cocoon Maldives - All Inclusive

We had a great relaxing 7 nights at Cocoon Island which was a treat after our Safari in Sri Lanka. Made even better by our guest liaison manager Ashraf (Ашраф) who was always there on the end of the phone should we need any help with bookings or lost property (currently lost a GoPro and hoping this will turn up) Ashraf was very knowledgable about the local area and the hotel, was good to see him in the restaurant to discuss what we had been up to on the island. We will be back at some point soon. Thanks to all staff who wee so friendly and helpful. Especially Vicco in the bar who brought us our drinks and spent time talking to us. Our lady in the restaurant who was also so attentive. Can’t remember her name unfortunately!

Amazing two weeks at Cocoon. Staff are all amazing. In particular Lina, Ashraf, Simad, Nizam, Vikko, Dian, Shamil, Tom, Mwambur, Anuj and all the catering staff and fishing guides. Swimming with Nurse Sharks was an amazing experience we will never forget. Lucky to see a Whale Shark which came inches away from our boat. Beautiful. We spent 2 weeks at Cocoon Maldives and loved every minute . We took a Sea Plane from Male and received a lovely warm welcome on arrival at Cocoon . Check In was quick and simple having provided our Passports at Male to the Rep to photo and send on . We had booked a Beach Villa on the Sunrise side of the Island which we thought was simple but perfect . The beach was clean and swept every day . Each Accommodation had their own Sun Loungers but there was always free Sun Loungers around the Island and by the Pool . The Sea was gentle so you could easily walk in . I'd suggest Beach Shoes are taken. You can easily walk around the Island which is beautiful and we did this every day calling off at the Bars as we did for either morning Coffee or Cocktails . Octopus was the main Restaurant which was a Buffet . There was a good selection of choice and a 'Theme of the Day' . We did try Manta Restaurant where we received a 30% Discount and had a lovely meal sat out on the Restaurant Terrace over water . The Food was excellent. During our time there we had our own personal Concierge , Baash, and he was excellent providing updates on the daily activities via WhatsApp. He sought us out each night for a quick catch up which we thought was lovely. He really ensured we had the best Holiday. The entire staff are all lovely and well trained and gave you a real feel of belonging. Nobody walked past you without a smile and an hello and the Restaurant and Bar Staff were very keen to advise on options to ensure you had the best experience , it was a real Team Effort from everyone.There was nightly activities in the Bar which kept everyone entertained.

So so exceptionally excellent If you are looking for a place to relax, enjoy the food, sun,sea and being surrounded by top notch staff from the GM and down, do not hesitate, book the holiday of your life and enjoy!

Excellent experience Overall excellent experience. Food is the highlight for sure: incredible variety and quality for the buffet. The water villas are great. Some wood panels are a little old and would benefit from renovation, but it's really a nitpick.
