Inn at Ardgour

Our adult family of 4 had a very nice stay at this family run Inn. We were expecting things to be a bit tight in our room but were pleasantly surprised to find our room to actually be quite large with 2 rooms for sleeping and a very sizable bathroom. Everything was super clean & the staff were very friendly and available if we had any questions. Our room had a great view of the Loch. It is a super quiet location as the Inn is accessible only by either a Ferry or a one lane road 17 miles from the main highway. We did take the one lane road up to Armadale to catch the ferry to Skye early one morning. As an American who was driving a rental on the left side of the road it was a bit of an adventure. Not sure I would recommend that route. The Corran Ferry starts running at 6am and goes until 9:30pm so you will have no problem catching the Ferry throughout the day. . It is only about a 10 minute Ferry ride to the other side. We did not have the breakfast plan so Incant comment about breakfast but we did eat dinner there a couple of times & it was very good.

We had a fabulous stay here, and the short ferry trip taking us to the tranquility of Ardgour was delightful. There was a very warm welcome, a cracking pint and we sat outside in the sunshine (!) supping and gazing at the loch. Dinner there was good, and everyone who worked there was friendly, chatty and helpful. Parking is a breeze, and the ferry, crossing to and fro, was pleasant to watch. Rooms are spacious and face the loch, and the breakfast was spot on. They were also kind enough to track me down and let me know they'd found my AirPods under the bed, and sent them on to me! Lovely place - recommended!

Lovely place ideal for ferry - 10 metres from ramp. but thats not a noise issue as they stop at 21.30 at night.good beer and food -defintely on my list to stay again

Staff were friendly and helpful. Decor is dated and lacks character. Could make much more of local food and culture.

Fantastic location with views from room out onto Loch. One room a bit small for our large son. Owner was able to accommodate in larger room. Great bar & excellent hotel restaurant. Good parking. Staff were top class. Helpful and friendly. Reasonable cost in expensive Scotland. One of our favourite places in 7 weeks of travel.

We arrived at the Inn later than expected due to the ferry not running so we had to travel a further hour or more round the loch. A heads up about the ferry wouldn’t have gone amiss, a month or more before we were informed that the Wi-Fi was only available in communal areas. Not a good start but was welcomed warmly. Our room was up a convoluted route of stairs and doors, this proved confusing on occasion. The twin bed room was comfortable and clean with a view of the loch. Space in the bathroom to place our accoutrements would have been better, otherwise acceptable. The food at the Inn was delicious and service was friendly and excellent. We became quite fond of the trip around the loch on the single track as we came across sheep and deer on the road. The trees changing colour, the mountains and the loch all made for a beautiful experience.

The staff were lovely and helpful. The food and beverages were very nice. The accommodation was adequate.

We booked this hotel for 1 night whilst on our trip. First impressions were great. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was lovely and had a beautiful loch view. Bathroom was nice and clean and room was well presented. Bed was really comfy and we had a great nights sleep. It was very peaceful and loved hearing the water outside. Breakfast was really nice with a great selection of items. Overall our stay was great and we wouldn't hesitate to stay again if we are in the area again.
