The chateau is beautiful with so much charm. The restaurant was lovely (only breakfast was available, closed for dinner). The bar looked inviting but was closed. Our room was the family suite located in one of the main building's towers. The bathroom was spacious, but it had no shower, just a tub. The bedroom in the turret was cute, but birds had nested under the adjoining roof, and they were quite obnoxious. There is no AC, so be prepared for heat if traveling in summer. The staff members were friendly. Overall the property is beautiful, but the rooms could use a little more TLC.

The hotel itself and the grounds are beautiful and exactly what you’d expect. Beautifully renovated, tasteful, etc. The rooms are a bit on the old side and not 100% convenient: no AC (which was tough for us during the canicule), wifi is super spotty, TVs are old, doors and windows creak, etc. Restaurant looks nice but is closed on Sunday so you have to eat elsewhere Overall a nice experience though

Amazing , chic chateau main areas wonderfully designed. Unfortunately the gorgeous bar area ( quite unique) was close! no pre dinner cocktail! only an offer of a glass of wine but not in the bar. The room was spacious with lovely features unfortunately the low cheap bed spoilt the whole effect , flat pillows & a poor night's sleep. The evening meal once again didn't live up to the hype at all. On the plus side the staff were most professional, pool & chateau itself gorgeous.

We chose this lovely hotel as a gastronomic trip, looking forward to dining in their renowned Restaurant, Le Clos, which we had booked by email. Unfortunately, our email was misrouted to one of their partner companies, which failed to forward it. There was no dining availability at the hotel when we arrived. The reception staff booked us into a family oriented brasserie in the local town, mainly serving burgers on one night, and on the other night into a steakhouse within a bowling alley/amusement arcade in a retail park. These two evenings away from the hotel, cost us roughly €130 in taxi fares. (The steak was good, but this was certainly not the kind of dining experience we had anticipated.) For our part, we should, with hindsight, have called to reconfirm our reservation. But our disappointment was compounded by realising, at the end of our stay, that it would’ve been perfectly possible for the management, in the circumstances (with our emails showing our good faith attempt to book) to have allowed us to dine in the very pleasant piano bar which is part of the restaurant. The senior receptionist on duty when we checked out agreed that this would’ve been the appropriate course of action. It seems likely that there was a staff training issue, as on arrival, we were not shown around the hotel, and were unaware of its amenities, including the swimming pool until we checked out. Stay here, but make sure you have a confirmed dinner booking.

Felt like royalty. Got upgraded to a stunning suite in the old chateau section. Huge room, luxurious bathroom. Extremely comfortable bed. Fine dining restaurant on site for dinner, and separate breakfast buffet. While it wasn't open for use when I was there as it is still far too cold, there is a large swimming pool in amongst some grapevines, where I was told you can get cocktails brought out to you while lounging around. I did have a look at other rooms while there, and they are all rather different and unique, but all very nice. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Free parking and wifi. It is about a 10 minute drive to Rodez. Very quiet. Beautiful valley views.

There are a number of things wrong with this expensive hotel ranging from exorbitant prices to disinterested staff. I believe that the main problem is that the owner doesn't live on the premises. Rather than going public with my complaints, I wrote privately to the owner. However, he didn't have the courtesy to reply which is why I am posting this now.

Quite pleasant, but rather over-priced. The bed was comfy, bathroom with bath and separate shower. Couldn't get the tv to work - possibly flat batteries in the remote. No USB charging points in the bedroom, We assumed breakfast was included, but after numerous attempts to squeeze oranges in the machine and gaining only a quarter of a small glass of orange juice, if we'd known we would have had a croissant and a coffee in town at a quarter of the price.

2 hours 30 minutes for dinner. The main course is tough meat, sauce not very tasty. Room not very heated. (nothing offered in compensation) high price 120 euros for 2. Breakfast 18 euros very well supplied and served. Top-notch massage! Decent jacuzzi. Room under the attic, grandparent-style decor; clogged sink; although heated well. poor value for money. Too bad because the architecture is promising.
