The hotel is very good for its category, it is next to the Arantzazu sanctuary and that gives it a certain extra tourist attraction. As for the room, sufficient for the night we spent, recommended.

Friendly hotel in an absolutely beautiful location. We arrived on bicycle, and they were very accommodating about storing our bikes in the garage. The hotel is a very short walk from Arantzazu monastery and at the base of beautiful hiking trails. Breakfast was not fancy but satisfying. The hotel porch was busy when we arrived on a Sunday afternoon but was quite peaceful once all the day tourists left.

Room was spacious , comfortable and clean. WiFi was excellent. Location was ideal for our purposes being within comfortable ride to and from Bilbao. Staff were very pleasant and efficient. Bar was basic but typical rural and prices were extremely good value. Dinner was without frills but fish soup was something special. We stayed first and last nights of our tour. Excellent value

Our experience was horrible. The HOSTEL (not a hotel) was old, stinky, directions to get there were NULL... We had contracted for 3 nights but the day after arriving we left. If you want an old place, with just the right amenities, where you're only going to spend the night, fine. But don't expect average qualities. They are rather mediocre. I would never recommend it.

It leaves much to be desired. An elevator with a chair inside (which had slippers on it), the place smelled bad and let's not talk about the cleanliness. I don't recommend it for anything in the world. We had dinner in the dining room and the chorizos were raw. There are places much easier to get to and better by far.

An evening in this simple but efficient hotel. The mattress a little soft. The evening meal at 14.5 is simple but good. A good breakfast for 5 euros. Good value for money.
