Hotel New Omi Reviews

This hotel is very close to the train station, thus it is also close to restaurants and izakayas. Free parking was great. It would have been perfect if there is a big bath.

The hotel is very close to JR Omihachiman Station, a few minutes' walk away. The hotel rooms are larger than the average Japanese hotel, and the lobby is also larger. The hotel staff is very friendly. The bus to Chomeiji in front of the station can reach the main attractions in Omihachiman, which is very convenient.

When I was getting my luggage after checking out, I noticed that my cell phone battery needed to be charged. When I told the front desk, they showed me to a sofa in the lobby with an outlet, and I was able to charge it. I was very happy with the staff's consideration.

It is very close to JR Omihachiman Station, which is convenient. It is an old hotel with old hotel style facilities, comfortable and clean. The room is large for the same price and the bed is comfortable.

Although I made a same-day reservation, I was able to check in smoothly. The room was very clean and the toilet and bathroom were spacious. There was also a hair iron, which was helpful.

The price/performance ratio is quite high. The hygiene of Japanese hotels can still be trusted. In terms of environment, it only takes 3 minutes to walk from the station. The room is relatively large for Japan.

A business hotel in a small place, clean, with big rooms, but average service, waiter's English is poor, can't even get more quilts, on the 4th floor next to the platform, noisy when opening the window, double bed is small and soft, Japanese style.

Very close to the station and close to a large shopping mall. The hotel is a bit old, but clean and comfortable. Free parking is very convenient for self-driving tours. It is also only a few minutes drive from Omi Hachiman.

地理位置很好，就在近江八幡站邊，酒店大堂比較氣派。房間中規中矩，比較乾淨。總體來説挺滿意的，好評！

Hotel is 3mins walk from the train station which was ideal as I was arriving into Omihachiman late at night. The room is clean and spacious. I booked a single room which is just next to the lift but I could not hear noise from they lift lobby. But I could hear the train if it was passing by the track next to the hotel. So the other reviewer was right that they could improve the sound proofing of the windows. I recommend the hotel for it's location. There is another hotel even nearer but New Omi is of higher grade.
