Everything under trees. 2 Amazing swimming pool areas to relax at after a hot day of games Drives. Zebras and Kudu's chilling with guests. We camped in our own tents and had a shelter from the nightly rain storms, lots of lighting and a power point. Own washing basin. Nearby WC. Very clean. Highly recommended.

We initially struggled to find the place as the sign said "Taleni Etosha Village Campsite," and we had no phone reception to check the map. The signage was a bit misleading. We arrived just before 7 pm, just in time to catch the sunset. For dinner, there was a buffet, which was okay but extremely overpriced! We received no information about the cost until we got the bill the next day—750 R for two people for a very average buffet. Had we known this beforehand, we would have opted to grill at our campsite instead. The campsite itself had great facilities, including a communal braai area, shared toilets, and showers. The area was well-lit with lanterns along the paths, making it easy to navigate back to your spot. There was also a lovely pool by the reception, complete with sun loungers and plenty of seating, but unfortunately, due to our short stay, we didn’t have time to make use of it. I would recommend the place to other campers, but steer clear of the buffet—it’s definitely not worth the steep price.

This review is specific to camping here. The camping area was very far from the main lodge / facilities. There were wild kudu and giraffes on site. The Kudu often wandered through our campsite and were very gentle and non threating. The grounds near the lodge were well kept and lush. Paths were well marked from the lodge to the camping area (although not lit, so at night a flashlight is a must). The campground had concrete pads for the tents and there were gravel walkways throughout. The campground washroom was rustic but charming with 2 showers (outdoor) and 2 toilet stalls in each of the women and men's. There were braai and washing up facilities along with outdoor tables and benches under a covering There are 3 swimming pools available with seating. The Wifi was not very good (kept cutting in and out). The restaurant was great, nice ambiance and good food. The staff were very friendly. This lodge / campsite is very close to Etosha.

Very good option for accomodation near Etosha NP. Bungalows situated in the bush, parking next to it. Very nice selection of food for dinner and breakfast. Friendly staff. Wifi not working in rooms, only in the reception/restaurant area.

Was greeted by super friendly staff, with ice cold ice tea and a refreshing cold towel. The campsite is very neat, well lit and private ablutions with hot and cold water. Washing up station is outside with hot and cold water as well. The only negative was the canvas shower curtain. Wifi is only available at the reception and bar area. Kudus roam around the lodge and campsites.

We had just spent two nights at the Okaukuejo camp in Etosha and were extremely disappointed in it on all levels. But walking into Etosha Village immediately right outside the park was absolutely what we were hoping and looking for. We would tell anyone visiting the park to not stay in the govt ran ones but outside at Etosha Village. You can still enter at the same time as people staying in the park. At Etosha Village you get that personal feel and touch. The rooms were breathtaking and so comfortable. The food was absolutely incredible and we ate so much! We even did a sundowner with them which the view point was gorgeous and they put out quite the spread for just the two of us. At camp be prepared to see Kudus! There is a waterhole on site in front of the rooms and there are so many male and female kudu walking around- quite the experience! We loved Etosha Village and wish we had stayed here the entire time we were in Etosha. Would strongly recommend to anyone visiting!
