Definitely not as bad as its ratings. Old but clean and amenities are quite decent. Milk was provided and water pressure was fine. Preserved its timely ranch charm with characteristic decor. Breakfast was abundant and prepared fresh. Views of the mountain ranges were excellent.

After a day of hiking in Mount Cook, the best hotel in Queenstown, with a great environment. The hotel facilities are a little old, but it does not affect the use. There are supermarkets and restaurants nearby. The owner is very friendly and came out to see me off when I left the hotel.

We stayed at this hostel, which was conveniently located for our trip to Lake Tekapo and Aoraki Mount Cook.
Breakfast was included, the room was spacious, and there was a shared lounge area, so we really enjoyed our stay.

Countrytime Hotel located in Omarama, the friendly reception of the front desk staff made me feel good. In particular, Manager Wyne kindly taught me how to fill up and pay at a nearby gas station on my way home from work, and recommended a local restaurant, which made me very satisfied with my dinner. I recommend the excellent breakfast, and especially the Korean flag flying on the hotel flagpole, so I took a picture with it. Omarama is located in the middle of Mount Cook, Lake Wanaka, and Queenstown, so I highly recommend it because you can enjoy a cost-effective hotel and enjoy facilities and an atmosphere that would be right out of a Western movie. Older independent travelers will quickly know if it is senior-friendly when they see the Wi-Fi password. If you want to feel nostalgia, I highly recommend visiting this village and this hotel.

This hotel is one of the several hotels I have stayed in in New Zealand.
The best service staff, bar none.
The boss will do many things personally, so you will often meet the boss during your stay. The boss is very nice.
Without a kitchen, cooking is impossible. However, the hotel provides breakfast and other meals at other times. If there is a fire alarm in the room, do not use the self-heating pot.
The bedding is very clean, but the dust cover needs to be removed before use.
