Negatives: This was our 2nd visit and this time around we were a little disappointed by some elements. The adult pool was scruffy and neglected, and the bar area did not open while we were there, so we chose not to use this pool. This was one of the reasons we returned, so we felt a bit let down. There was very limited entertainment apart from daytime music from the poolside DJ box. Previously, the amphitheatre had brilliant acts that we really enjoyed. Maybe it was too early in the season? Positves: On arrival, we asked for a room change, as we were in a room overlooking an area of noisy building work and a large roof. We were quickly relocated to a lovely room overlooking the pool, which totally transformed our stay. We were extremely grateful. Food was good, particularly at lunch and dinner, where there was lots of salad options and a choice of meat dishes. The desserts were amazing! Breakfast was a little limited, mainly eggs, cheese and vegetables. Don't expect a full English breakfast. Location is beautiful- mountain views and a well maintained family pool and gardens. It is around a 25- 30-minute walk to the town (approximately £4 in a taxi). A free shuttle bus is available for the beach around 10am/4pm return). All inclusive drinks were soft drinks, vodka, gin, (generous measures!) local beer and wine. A hot drinks station was also available. Staff were friendly and helpful. Ali was lovely and made us feel very welcome. Thank you Ali! The atmosphere was lovely and relaxed. The pool areas were very quiet. The restaurant was also very quiet until our last night, when there was a huge influx of guests. Maybe this is more reflective of summer season and we were a bit early. Overall, a great holiday at a lovely, peaceful hotel.
