Hotel la Perla d'Olot

We were with our Hiking group and we were very well received by the whole family, professionals. Almost the entire hotel is renovated, in a very quiet area, to be able to rest. They have a good, well-stocked cold buffet for breakfast and we had the opportunity to have some wonderful dinners, with recipes that have been in the family for many years. Thank you for hosting us.

Good concept of a family hotel with apartment-type rooms with common areas for the little ones to have fun. Perfect location to go to the volcano area or Olot. Unfortunately we did not plan to return since the room was very dirty. Luckily the beds and sheets were clean because otherwise we would have left. Upon entering the room it already had a smell as if it was not ventilated. Dirty floor with hair and sand, moldy refrigerator, it seemed like it had been months since they had passed the broom under the bed, windows with a finger of dust and a dirty terrace. It gave a feeling of dirty time, that is, of neglect....as if at the beginning of the season they had not done a tune-up of the apartment. The facilities were also very abandoned and neglected...the air conditioning did not work and we could not sleep all night...horrible heat. Part of the children's bunk bed is metal and was broken and if you ran your finger over it it would cut like a knife. The child could be cut perfectly when going down and up. A coat of paint wouldn't go amiss and, above all, changing the rusty radiators that were leaking water (they had a plastic container in place to collect the water). It's a shame because the idea is good but it loses points for the appearance of everything.
