Cute little hotel with great hospitality. Centrally located for everything. Simple, functional breakfast. They will pack for you if you are leaving early, for Machu Picchu, etc. There is some construction (public works) going on in front of the hotel (in September, 2024) which could pose small challenges in accessing the hotel - but nothing to warrant changes to your plans for staying at this boutique hotel.

Excellent location, staff were so obliging and couldn’t do enough for us. Cheap laundry service, full breakfasts (including bagged breakfast for when we left early for Machu Picchu) and spotlessly clean. Showers were awesome and hot, views fabulous and the entire town is easily accessible from the hotels location. Only negative is bed was a little hard but all the positives outweighed this.

Absolute gem of a hotel. Comfortable hotel located in perfect spot for your trip to Machu Pichu. Short walk to city center. Short walk to visit ruins. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Nice home made breakfast. My wife loved all the Peru hats on the wall.

Came with a large school group. They took amazing care of us—felt like I was at home! Breakfast (both take away early before our early train to Machu Picchu and dine-in were excellent). Lovely down to earth, environmental and relaxed vibe! I couldn’t recommend it more highly! The showers were great too!

Very comfortable, clean and friendly place to stay! We stayed the day after we finished the Salkantay Trek and it was perfect! Great location, staff were very friendly and Ollyantaytambo was a perfect place to relax and explore while recovering. The owner even recommended some hidden gems to eat and ruins to visit! Thank you so much for your hospitality! I hope to be back again soon :)

Cute little hotel in the heart of Ollantaytambo. Wont get as many amenities here as you would in Cusco, but the service was great and rooms were very cozy. 10 minutes walking from the train station, less than 5 minute walk to the ruins, and surrounded by a bunch of restaurants. The staff was great and very hospitable - they left us bagged breakfast at the front desk to take with us during our 6am train to machu picchu. We missed breakfast on our last day and they made sure to still put out a delicious breakfast of breads, fruit, and juice for us. They also coordinated a private taxi back to Cusco for us. Thanks so much for the warm welcome and great stay!

This hotel is so darn cute! They have done a great job of decorating their main lobby with local artifacts. The wall is adorned with local Peruvian hats all from different areas of the region. Very tastefullly done. The hotel is located one half block from the main square and 2 blocks from the Ollantaytambo ruins which you can see from the lobby ( and from our room). The room was very clean , bed were comfortable and well made up. The service was great, the ladies at the desk were happy to tell us about their culture, the hats, the ruins etc. Breakfast was good: cereal, yogurt, fresh fruit, coffee, teas, and eggs made to order. I would highly recommend staying here!

Great option to stay in Ollantaytambo. The hotel room has a great view to the archeological site of Ollantaytambo. It is near to the train station, in a 15 minutes walk. The hotel itself is nice. The staff is friendly. The room is clean and confortable, with a huge bed. The breakfast has quality, not so many options, but delicious things. I recommend this hotel.

We stayed here for 3 nights and glad we chose Sauce Hotel. Lovely airy rooms with tasteful colours, decent shower and an amazing view of the ruins. Breakfast was served from 7pm which is ideal for early getaways to the sites. Ideal central location. Staff were friendly and helpful especially getting our breakfast ready in time to catch a 7.30 bus!
