The hotel is a glorious building full of character and charm. Reception is welcoming and helpful. The room is to die for - a thing of beauty and the bathroom too. Restaurant and dinner exceptional. I have never seen waiters move so fast. We loved it and would gladly come back. Glorious little town.

We had a wonderful experience during our one night stay, which also was the parador's last day for the season. (They mentioned that they will be closing for renovations for the next 1-2 years.) The castle is completely charming and our room did not disappoint either. It was spacious, clean, and decorated in a style which I would describe as old Spanish charm and warmth. Our room included a lovely view as well. The staff was friendly and welcoming. We had our dinner at the restaurant, which I would recommend also. Our server was helpful and accommodating considering my poor Spanish language skills. I practiced enough ahead of time to be able to ask for her help in suggesting dinner, which she did.

We have stayed prior, this is a fabulous place. The only issue was we had a 9.30 breakfast and there was little left to choose.

We wanted to eat in the restaurant terrible expiernce. We thought at leat they would speak English just basci knowledge. At first very friendly, but not everything on the menu available then it got complicated. So we left. Terible service for such a restaurant.

Beautiful old building (part of the former Navarra Royal Palace) decorated with stained-glass windows, suits of armour, tapestries and cast-iron lamps. Location was ideal, being situated in Plaza de los Teobaldos, next to the church. Bedrooms were decked out with dark period furniture and we had a small comfortable balcony. With very friendly staff this was probably the nicest of the hotels that we stayed in in our week in Northern Spain.

Great location in the centre of town. Car parking is a 5 minute walk away but you can access the Parador to unload/load luggage/passengers. Nice atmosphere as you would expect in the Parador. Room comfortable, staff welcoming. About 30-40 mins. drive from Pamplona.

very nice stay, the parador is very centrally located in Olite. Parking is close to the Parador, no problem at all. Good options for wine tasting nearby.
