Amazing breakfast, lovely property. Just our room didn’t have an external window and this property has many flies which at breakfast was not pleasant.

Consider that this is a very old house as all of the houses around Olinda city center. The room I got was quite poor. Lack of ventilation, bugs everywhere, while my friends got another rooms in the same property those were way better in general terms. Just make sure you dont get the room that is connected with Beijupirá restaurant.

We had an unforgettable stay. Very atmospheric and staff is most kind. Breakfast is very good, lots of variety, and very pleasantly served. Terrace is just wonderful, especially in the evening. If you are strictly tied to Hyatt & Co, this may not be your place. If you can appreciate to stay in a family-run place, with somewhat artistic flair in the old rooms then you will love it. Rooms are coherent to the place and Olinda; a little old, but charming (I am not sure if those Jacuzzis in the room are really necessary, but others may like them..)

Staff is the best this place has to offer! Everyone was super friendly and helpful. The place itself wasn’t my favorite. Very dark with old furniture and small bedroom. The view of Recife from the dining area and our bedroom was breathtaking. After couple of days one can get used to staying there but I won’t be returning.

Hats off to Jacqueline, Carlos and Victor. They went out of their way to help me, especially through the complex process of buying a phone chip in Brazil. They were wonderful in every respect and will make your stay in Olinda a pleasure. I had a room in the annex across the street and it was quite spacious with a four-poster bed and an outdoor bathtub (the view from the street is blocked so don't feel shy about using it.) The breakfast was bountiful. Fruit, cheeses, meats, cakes and bread plus coffee and juice. It will keep you full till dinner time. Dinner at the restaurant was also delicious and reasonably priced. Once more all my thanks to Jacqueline, Carlos and Victor my first friends in Brazil.

Très joli bâtiment ancien bien entretenu. Le personnel est très sympa. Des meubles d'époque ce qui donne beaucoup de charme. Bien situé au centre d'olinda dans un quartier qui s'anime le weekend. Petit déjeuner avec une vue unique sur le jardin et Recife au fond. Attention cependant si vous aimez le calme, évitez les chambres sur la rue car très bruyantes (un petit bar musical sous les fenêtres).

Abril 2025 Pousada em condições decadentes, fotos não condizem com a realidade. Quartos e banheiros sujos, teias de aranha, poeira. Camas e travesseiros desconfortáveis. Zero, absolutamente zero isolamento acústico, prepare se bem para dormir. Piscina suja, jardim mal cuidado. Funcionários atenciosos, contudo batem papo na recepção após 22h00. Rua normalmente barulhenta também.
