The Luxury Collection Hotels in Olhos de Agua

Le domaine est vraiment très très beau, la chambre est vieillotte en plus la ménage est à revoir l’odeur d’humidité, et les draps humide c’est pas top, nous sommes arrivé il y avait de la nourriture dans notre frigo nous avons signalé et on nous a répondu que c’est à la dame de ménage elle pensait pas qu’il y avait du monde , donc aucun Check avant l’arrivé. L’emplacement au top !

Stayed here for a 5 night holiday with my family . Was pleasantly surprised at how big the rooms were .. we were in room 402 . Was clean and had everything we needed . The resort it’s self it’s big and kept clean and tidy. Bolt or Uber into town is cheap enough and not long drive . Staff are pleasant enough it’s quite a chilled resort . No entertainment team around pools etc . We used a few of the pools , but enjoyed the pool with snack bar and the pool with the other restaurant . Spar next door to site very handy .

Super holiday! We have just spent 10days on half board here at the Porto bay Falesia. We had a fantastic time. The staff are all so friendly and helpful, bending over backwards to make the experience all the more pleasurable. We stayed in a sea view room on the 3rd floor and it was amazing! Great size room with lovely bathroom and rituals products. Cleaning staff were so lovely and kept our room spruced up throughout our stay. The food was really good. The selection was so good, always something for everyone, I prefer fish and my husband prefers meat and neither were disappointed. We also had a meal at il basilica which was great. We spent most of the week relaxing by the pool or on the beach and walking. The pool area is perfect for reading a book, plenty of loungers. The beach is accessed by around 120 steps which we loved but I can see they may be an issue if not so mobile or able. The beach is incredible! We walked to vila moura which took around 2 hours, had lunch and walked back. There was also a lovely walk along the cliff top in the other direction going via the town of olhos de agua. This walk was spectacular! It takes you all the way to Maria Luisa beach via a restaurant on the beach called passaro azul ( definitely worth a visit). We spent a morning at the indoor pool, sauna and steam room which was nice as it was raining outside. My husband also used the gym which was adequate. The town is sweet with a selection of restaurants and shops plus a small supermarket for supplies! All in all we had a fantastic 10days and will definitely be back. Thank you to all the staff for making it such a great holiday!

I going to admit I was really worried about staying here but we’ve just come back from 4 nights was very surprised. The staff were very friendly and accommodating - our room though it was dated was very clean, we also had housekeeping come everyday. The pool area was a great size. Plenty of beds, in decent condition. A couple were broken but the majority were good. The pool bar was reasonably priced and the food was good. Good service from staff. Our door locked and the hotel was in ok condition. From what I can tell they are merging two hotels together and are in process of doing the rooms/hotels up. Disliked · Down side our air con didn’t work - they did provide us with a fan however it was that hot it didn’t do very much. We struggled to get towels but we did get some. We just had to collect from reception in the evening. There was a couple of tiles on the balcony that was broken.

Stayed for 4 nights in a self catering apartment which was great! I was abit apprehensive about this hotel as the price was very cheap, so wasn't sure what to expect however was pleasantly surprised with the room which was very clean and spacious. Staff were friendly and helpful. We didn't use the pools as water was too cold in April. Location was good, was walking distance to the old and new towns. We booked a boat excursion to explore the caves and dolphin spotting which was absolutely amazing and a must see!

Grounds with lots of pine trees, just nice to go for a walk, very good fitness classes, not busy (at least during our visit) , a good selection of restaurants on and off the grounds. I did not like the aquarium style bathroom and shower, no privacy, also lit up all room if used at night. But the room we stayed was large and well looked after. We used a tennis court daily, just next to our room. There was no kids club during our out of season stay, but our daughter was allowed to fitness classes with us and she really enjoyed it. On site restaurants are very good but a bit on expensive side, however there are few outside just 2 minutes n walk. The staff is always happy to help.

Travelled with my disabled father with his walker, however the hotel kindly lent us a wheelchair which we would never have managed without, especially outside as the paths are very uneven.Rooms amazing, Food great,Staff fantastic and helpful, couldn't use shuttle bus with my father so used taxis very expensive unless you have Uber app, entertainment bit limited missed the quiz as wasn't made aware it was in the TV area till too late for seats. There are 2 pools we only used one near to my father's room in case of toilet needs, it's not heated however I don't mind that, would return but on our own to explore area more.
