Aquamar Albufeira Aparthotel

I had a medical emergency with my daughter and the hotel refused to refund me, despite submitting evidence. Trip customer service were very helpful, so they get 5 stars, but the hotel showed no humanity and just kept £350!! 0 stars!

Huge 1 bed apartment which was well equipped for us to cook and was cleaned every day which was a really great bonus. We travelled with our 7 month old and the staff was all extremely accommodating and the travel cot and high chair were very good quality. Onsite bar does simple food including delicious breakfast and all very reasonably priced. Pools were clean and warm and area around very well maintained. Plenty of loungers for everyone. The Aquamar is made by the team who run it, so warm and welcoming and very helpful. We had a car, you have to pay a small amount for parking but made exploring really easy. But noticed a taxi rank just outside for this without their own transport.

Myself and my husband have just returned from a fantastic week’s holiday staying at the Aqua Mar apartments. After an early morning flight we arrived before our apartment was ready, however within half an hour (spent with a cold beer at the pool bar!) we were given our keys, our luggage already taken to our room. The apartment (one bedroom with pool view) was huge. Big bedroom (two singles pushed together, very comfortable with lovely pillows!) Large bathroom with two showers (one over the bath) and two sinks. A spacious living room (with sofa bed and tv) led into a separate kitchen with oven, hob, microwave, kettle, toaster and fridge. We could have lived there! The apartment was very clean and had a view of the pool although the balcony was rather small. We were on the ground floor at the end of the building. It was quiet and peaceful even though we were right across the road from a variety of bars and restaurants - a very accessible location. The pool area was great, two pools, plenty of umbrellas and sun beds. People didn’t get up at the crack of dawn to put towels down and there were enough beds for everyone. The pool bar was great for drinks and food, best sangria of the holiday! Special mention to Jose at reception, such a friendly guy who was a joy to talk to and who made us feel very welcome, thank you! I’d definitely recommend these apartments and would happily stay there again.

Nice place with very good vibes. Everything you need for good rest. Convenient localisation, close to Olhos center, close to the beach. Nice snackbar in the hotel. Well equipped kitchen. Comfortable beeds. Clean and spacious apartments. Only one small disadvantage, if you have late returning neighbours above, you will hear them for sure;)

These apartments are kept so clean along with the whole site. All staff are friendly and happy to help with requests eg trips, taxis or general information about the area. It is a small complex so nice and quiet, we never had trouble getting sun beds and we were a group of five. They do a small menu served from 9am till 7 pm everything we had was nice and cooked fresh. Would certainly return and stay again.
