The front desk was polite and courteous. Front lobby was clean. When we walked into our room my nephew who’s 7 started screaming as we came up to the bed. A Brad nail had gone through his shoe into his foot. When I asked for salt, a bandage, and polysporin or iodine. I was brought a cup of table salt which is fine. An arm sling, a large gauze pad, an eye patch, a tensor bandage and some other random emergency supplies that made zero sense. There was one large bandaid that I used to cover the small puncture wound but no antibacterial cream. We received a $35 refund on the room. Breakfast was a bleak affair. The eggs were burnt black underneath, the sausages were microwaved I’m sure as well as the bacon. There was a tinny little room next to it with a lady who would make you an omelette but I passed on the offer. The pool advertised was closed with all the windows around it covered in newspaper so you couldn’t look in. When speaking with locals they say the pool had been shut down at least 2 years. Sadly the price of the hotel doesn’t reflect the lack of amenities coming in at a whopping $240 a night.
