Premier Inn Birmingham Oldbury (M5, Jct2)

Good servise and good restaurant

If you dare to park on this car park BE WARNED that you will be issued with £100 car parking fine if you have had the audacity to omit putting your car reg in their machine, which you didn’t know was there! It is shared with the Lakeside Pub where we went for a meal, we were not asked to put reg number into a machine so knew nothing about it, now have been issued with a fine for £100 by some company called Park Maven.

I have submitted this once but hey ho still feeling disappointed that having stayed in Premier Inns dozens of times over the years the conditions in the bathroom we had was not up to standard My wife did complain to reception so I hope it was logged The staff were excellent but after a long journey late at night switching on the bathroom light to be met with this took the gloss off our weekend The soap container was a disgrace and partially rusted away

Just had 2 nights in premier Inn Oldbury. Brilliant hotel very clean and staff very courteous. The cookhouse and pub lakeside was very good food hot and tasty would recommend. The whole experience very good place to stay. Rooms very spacious and clean nice and quiet hotel for a change

The price was reasonable, the free parking was a plus, and being close to a bus stop made getting to the city center easy. Overall, a fantastic experience.

Hair in the bath. Generally a tired and dated hotel. Peeled out my ground floor window and it was like a tip - old socks, a dinner plate, wrappers and the like - the grounds really need tidying up, it’s disgusting. The shower was powerful at least.

We booked two rooms and both were clean and comfortable. My nephew had his own room(a little way down the hall) while I shared with my mum. The front desk staff were welcoming and friendly. They advised us on nearby attractions and the restaurant across from the hotel was great for breakfast and evening meals.

Lovely staff. Clean and relaxing room. For in Cookhouse was lovely. Ample parking spaces. Great location for NEC, around half hour drive away. Around 5 min drive is the retail park and Sainsbury’s and opposite hotel is a KFC for alternative dining. Will stay there again.

The staff are what makes this hotel. I stay here 2 nights a week every week and the girls (and guy) on reception are lovely. The staff in the cookhouse have never been anything but polite, well mannered and attentive. I always look to stay at this hotel. Cya next week
