Moontide Motel, Apartments, and Cabins

My spouse and I have been coming to Moontide for more than 5 years. The rooms are impeccably clean and comfortable. The owner is responsive and truly friendly. Just steps away from the beach. At a mile or so from the pier, it’s quiet and still convenient. I hope to be back for many years to come.

Perfection... year after year after year. This was my 13th visit to OOB and 12th staying in the Moontide. Going to OOB each year, it's natural for the quality of places to ebb and flow based on changing of staff and ownership. However, the one true exception to this is the Moontide. Every single year, we return to our favorite part of the country to the cleanest rooms and property and the most fantastic owners and staff. I'm very happy to know that the Moontide will be waiting for us on the other side of this year's trip around the sun.

This was our eleventh time staying at the Moontide, and I wouldn’t stay anywhere else in OOB. I travel with cleaning supplies to places we visit to always give it an extra clean. I say this to say, that I have never done this at the Moontide. The owners, Monika and Thomas take absolute pride in their property from the spotless rooms and clean exterior. They are always very responsive and happy to provide suggestions in terms of local attractions and eats. Both work constantly to maintain the property and ensure a good experience for their guests, and that goes a long way. The property has parking available and is close enough (1/2 mile walk), to the nightlife of downtown, but also far away enough that the property sits on a quieter stretch of the beach. Moontide is definitely a hidden gem in OOB.

My wife and I stayed for two weeks in July. Let me just say that there was not one negative thing we can say about this place. Near the beach, exceptionally clean, really great and attentive owners who you can actually see and talk to each and every day. I recommend The Moon Tide to anyone who wants a great stay in OOB. We are going back next year.

We had a recent stay here with family and friends. This is an exceptional motel/cabin located in Old Orchard Beach. The property is in pristine condition. You can tell the owners take pride. They had clean Weber barbecues on site. Beach toys available for our kids. Its these little touches that distinguish this property. Owners are very friendly, rooms are very clean, service is exceptional. Location is in close proximity to the beach and a short walk downtown for entertainment. Excellent stay! Highly recommended.

The motel and room was very clean and welcoming. The owners and staff were very friendly and wonderful. They diffinitly made our stay so enjoyable!!! Looking forward to coming back next year to make more memories with family!!
