L'Essenza Hotel

Fantastic family run hotel with delicious breakfast. Oblia is not the greatest destination but this hotel was wonderful. Comfortable bed with excellent shower and a great breakfast with lots of options and even eggs cooked-to-order. The lady who runs it helped us get tea at night because there isn't any in the room. So glad we chose this hotel which is very close to the airport (everything in Olbia is close to the airport) but in the more interesting part of the city. The area right near the airport is very depressing, full of ***** box stores with poor quality things. Nicer to be in the older part of the city and this hotel is in a great location---central but quiet and not on the main street.

We stayed in this brilliant Hotel for 3 nights This hotel is truly amazing. Wonderful staff spacious rooms with an excellent range of toiletries, tea and coffee making facilities and a plentiful supply of still and sparking water in the fridge. Beach towels are available at the really low cost of €5 at reception. The light and airy breakfast room is located in the terrace on the top floor, offering indoor and outdoor dining. There is an impressive array of hot and cold drinks, fruit, cheeses , cured meats, breads , pastries and cakes. Alongside this generous buffet affair you can have a freshly cooked omelette. Everyone is so pleasant and helpful here to guests. It's really a top class hotel in everyday.

Clean hotel. Our room was spacious. The people working there are very nice. Service was great. It’s right next to the main street in Olbia.

Great hotel for a few days en route to La Maddalena . Centrally located, quiet rooms and very helpful staff - held our luggage after a very early arrival The breakfast terrace is wonderful . Olbia is a charming town with plenty of restaurants and services

This hotel is wonderful! Booked 3 nights for the beginning of our trip to Sardinia this April with the intention of travelling on but decided we liked Olbia and L’Essenza so much that we stayed for a full week. The hotel is newly refurbished, spotlessly clean and the rooms are very comfortable and quiet and relaxing. All the staff are fantastic, from everyone on reception to the breakfast team and the housekeeping team, they are all dedicated professionals with exceptional customer service skills, and all so friendly and kind. We needed a relaxing holiday and definitely had it staying at L’Essenza. Our Italian is basic but the staff all have excellent English and we were given great tips on restaurants to visit. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful and catered for different dietary requirements including gluten intolerance which was very helpful. The scrambled eggs and omelettes were the best ever and with the freshly squeezed blood orange juice it was heavenly.

Great hotel! The room was very comfortable with big bed and nice bathroom. Breakfast was fantastic with lots of choice and very friendly staff: every morning the girls would greet me and offer me coffee or eggs. Gabriele and Gianluca on reception were super friendly and helpful and helped me book a tour to beautiful la maddalena. Hotel is in a great location with lots of restaurant options nearby - i reccommend ristorante de paolo for fantastic food (especially the tiramisu!) thank you essenza hotel team for a great stay

Very nice hotel in Olbia close to everything but not in the middle to be noisy. The staff is very friendly more like family The breakfast in the morning on the Top deck was so relaxing and the staff made sure you got the perfect espresso. On my next visit to Sardinia I will stay there again

This was hands down the best hotel we stayed at during our trip to Sardegna. The rooms were clean and modern, the location excellent and the view from the terrace perfect, but best of all was the staff! At the reception, the breakfast staff, the cleaning staff, everyone had a friendly smile on their face and were eager to help. It really made the whole experience memorable. If I come to Olbia again I will definitely revisit this hotel!
