It’s probably the best hotel in terms of value for money in the area. The location is good if you have a car, otherwise it’s a few min far from Olbia center.

We enjoyed a five night stay at this hotel which was very enjoyable. The hotel is lovely, with beautiful communal areas, a huge outdoor pool, a small gym and everywhere was spotlessly clean. The bedrooms are spacious and well equipped and the bed was really comfortable. The bathrooms are modern with good lighting, good showers, nice toiletries and plenty of counter space around the sink. The staff are friendly and professional and when we had a problem with our original room, we were immediately moved and upgraded which was excellent service. The food is good and the bar area is lovely. The breakfast was good with plenty of choice. There was an onsite representative for a few hours each day if you wanted to enquire about excursions or car hire but as a suggestion, it would have been nice to have a brochure there or a QR code for guests to read about local attractions and available excursions in the absence of the representative. Yes, as mentioned in reviews, the hotel is a little bit out of town but this is stated in the website so there are no surprises. It is much quicker to walk into town via the bridge over the railway lines (15 mins) than via the seafront route, albeit the latter is lovely if you are not in a hurry. Several public buses stop nearby including buses to the airport, to Pittulongu and Bados beaches and to Palau from where the boats leave for La Maddelana (lovely day trip). Just use google maps to find out the bus numbers, schedules and location of the relevant bus stop). I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel.

This hotel is fairly new, and out of the city center, although walkable distance. Our room was quiet, with a balconyto enjoy the outdoors (the view was just ok). Breakfats has plenty of options, but they are not that good: the eggs are made from powder and are clumpy. Other than bread, ham and butter, we were not impressed with our options there.

Reasonably priced hotel close to downtown Olbia. It’s about a 15 minute walk to downtown, but I wouldn’t take the walk at night. The hotel is several blocks away from anything. It looks like they had a plan to build several hotels in the area, but did only this one. However, this hotel is very convenient if you are renting a car. Plenty of free parking and easy access to main roads for anywhere in Sardinia. Breakfast was mediocre, cappuccino out of an automated machine (which was disappointing). Bedding was comfortable, but the AC was struggling. Nice restaurant, pool and bar. If you like to stay in the middle of the action and walk or take mass transit somewhere, this isn’t the hotel for you.

Decent hotel close to the Olbia airport. The hotel is somewhat isolated physically, but it is a short walk from a few restaurants and an ATM. The reason for 3 stars is the air conditioning. It’s summer in Italy, and outside temps are 33 degrees C. Although the thermostat in the room is at 18C the room never got below about 24C. There is an in-hotel restaurant and bar. Note that the bar closes at 2300LT. Trattoria da Sara is a great restaurant recommendation nearby.
Response from Property: Dear Guest, thank you for your feedback, we are glad you spent some time to leave it. We are sorry you are not completely satisfied by your experience at our property. We would like to highlight that our hotel stands 1.50 km from Olbia City Centre, about 500 mt from the Shopping Street Viale Aldo Moro and 6.1 km from Olbia Airport. Regarding the air conditioning we would like to give you some technical explanations: our machines function properly, in fact, when the thermostat is set, for example, at a temperature of 18 degrees, the machine works to bring the temperature of the room to 18 degrees and the air that is emitted has that temperature. If the outside temperature is very high, it will be impossible to reach a very low temperature inside the room. Furthermore, an Italian anti-pollution law stipulates that the indoor temperature must not be lower than 27 degrees in summer, tolerating a further reduction of a maximum of 2 degrees. Thank you for being our guest, we hope to see you again the near future. Kind regards Delta Hotels by Marriott Olbia Sardinia

The hotel itself is comfortable and even a standard double room is of good size. The beds or at the least mattress appears to be a proper double rather than two singles pulled together that you tend to find in a lot of Italian hotels. The pool and common areas are nice and there is plenty of parking. Breakfast is ok, the hot food tasted lukewarm and it would have been good to have more fruit available. I did note the hotel kept the hot food to a specific temperature. The location is not great. Feels like it sits on wasteland and the local street lighting was not working at the time. There is a fantastic trattoria which is a five minute walk from the hotel which appeared popular with locals (sorry, not got a name for it). The hotel includes small bottles of water in the bedroom fridge. I assumed they were complimentary as not priced but the hotel informs you they are 2.50 Euro each when you check out (35ish cents a bottle in supermarket). Interesting Hampton Hilton in an earlier post suggest they don’t offer complimentary water given they are a *** hotel. Same group but different brand **** hotel provide water but don’t specify you have to pay for it. When enquiring at another Hilton Doubletree I was told water is complimentary to Hilton privilege customers, which I am but did not book via that route. Anyway, feels measly and they may get better reviews if they relaxed the policy.

We enjoyed staying here. It’s definitely worth up grading to a room with a balcony, which we did after the first night. The breakfast was excellent and lots to choose from. It’s about a 20 min walk into the main part of the city, where there are lots of more touristy places to eat and see. Lots of cruise ships dock, so there’s always a lot of visitors, but it gives it a vibrant vibe. There are more restaurants to choose from locally and definitely worth looking for, as more authentic. Staff at the hotel were very friendly and helpful and you get a fresh cookie on arrival, which was home Made and delicious. Overall, a nice hotel. Bedrooms were a good size and nice. Bottles of water are provided in the refrigerator but you have to pay €2.50 ea small bottle! Pool area is big and lots of beds.

Stayed in the junior suite for three nights. Room was OK, but nothing more. Pros: - Very good service from the staff throughout the hotel - Good breakfast buffet - Good food in the restaurant. Recommend the mussels starter. - Quiet Cons: - A bit out of the way. Around 20 mins walk to city centre - Noisy air-con - Swimming pool needs an upgrade.
