We booked this onsen hotel while researching for Okutama' stay. Hotel front desk staff very friendly and cheerful, they handle our check in fast and gives detailed information about room and onsen. Also we dont speak and understand Japanese language but they try their best to make us feel comfortable. The room is very clean. We prefer no cleaning of room for our stay but they exchange towels and amenities everyday. Hotel also provide bottle water every day. Yukata is provided too. On our check out day it was raining and they drove us to the train station. We really appreciate such kind act. We hope to return one day and will definitely recommend this accommodation to friends.

The location of Shadian is beautiful, but it is difficult to get there. It is best to drive by yourself. The room is large and comfortable, the landscape is beautiful, and the small balcony faces the mountain view and stream. Breakfast and dinner are Japanese and Western style, which is good. The hot springs are inferior and the pool is strangely thin. Such a big hotel but such a small pool, haha.

奧多摩比較小眾，但是別有一番風景，這家温泉酒店就在鳩之巢車站旁邊，緊鄰鳩之巢峽谷，很幽靜，很美，裏面的服務員也都很温柔，推薦。

Seemingly brand new. Amazing view over the gorge. The onsen was very nice. The breakfast was quite nice, Western style, but not overwhelming. They had both drinks and snacks available in vending machines. The lobby was airy, with a deck overlooking the gorge. The hiking path across the river was perfect.

河口湖、石和など関東近郊で同価格帯の旅館、ホテルを泊まり歩いていますが、ハード、ソフトともここが一番良かったです。9年前にリノベーションをしたとのことでしたが、メンテナンスが良いのか、古さは一切感じませんでした。ソフトで言うと、ほんの少しのことですが、客の立場に立って考えられたサービスがなされているところが素晴らしかったです。例えば、大浴場のシャンプーなどのボトルに漢字で大きく『髪』と書いてあったり（老眼なので、暗いところで小さい字は見えないので、大浴場ではいつも困っていた。）夕食後、レストラン・スタッフが入り口まで見送りしたり、客室トイレの引き戸にテープを貼って、音がならないようにするなどなど、その他、感じるところは多々ありました。 きっと名のあるホテル・オペレーターが運営していると思いきや第三セクターが運営していると聞き、なおさら凄いと思いました。温泉も比較的長く入れる温度で丁度良いし、食事も勿論美味しかったです。次回、夕食のメニュー変更は３月なので、春先にまた滞在してみたいと思いました。一つ希望を言えば、夕食後に軽くお酒が飲めるカウンターバーがあったら、良いかなと思いました。

東京都に住んでいるから、東京の自然に触れようと思い、入っていた行っていた鳩ノ巣渓谷の気になる宿を予約しました。ツインベッドの部屋 部屋から見える木のオーラを感じました。平日に行ったのでお風呂は混み合うことなくゆっくりと入ることができました。食事はお箸の洋食。きれいに盛り付けされ、丁寧なお料理で、味もよかったです。蛍を楽しみにしていたのですが、あいにくの雨！また、リベンジしたいと思います。翌日の朝は、お散歩！蛍が住むような自然豊かな場所でした。癒やされました。又宿泊します。
