Hotels near Takamatsujoshi Park in Okayama

Perfect location with link to the mall and Okayama JR station. The hotel staff was very helpful with my luggages as I was traveling with my mother. The only grouse is the lack of hanging spaces for the jackets and towels as there are only 3 hangers. Other than that, we enjoyed the stay and international breakfast.

The location of the hotel is excellent. It is a 5-minute walk to the station. It is convenient for dining and shopping nearby. The front desk service is friendly. 　I almost missed breakfast on Sunday morning. At the time of check-in, you can see the photo and it is a set menu, so only the explanation is that you can choose from these 5 types on the day. Understand that it is ”set menu only”. Even though it is a business hotel in front of the station, Sunday starts at 7 o'clock 30 minutes later than weekdays. It seems to be entrusted to the tavern on the same floor as the front desk, and even if it is explained, the location is not clear, and it cannot be seen from the front desk. When I left the hotel at 7:30 and headed for the store, there was a person in the chair in front of me. However, there is no tag saying that you are waiting, so when you say breakfast in the store, you will say, ”Please wait in front.” When you try to write the name, there is no such thing. However, it seems that you should sit in the corridor and wait until the order comes. I heard that I took out, but I didn't. I have to leave for work, but this will miss eating breakfast ... When I returned to the front desk and explained the situation to the hotel staff, the hotel did not know the situation at all. I'll go to the breakfast shop together and listen to the situation. Finally, the first people started to leave, and luckily, the previous people were all group guests, so I sat at about 8:45. When I entered, the set was only the main, and a little buffet was added. Moreover, it is understood that only up to 8 people (groups) can enter the store in the form of a private room izakaya. With this, there is a great possibility that I couldn't enter the store even if I waited forever, and I think it is disqualified as breakfast at a business hotel. Don't throw the hotel round, understand what the situation is and improve it.

Conveniently located in the Kita Ward district of Okayama, Super Hotel Okayama Station Higashiguchi is situated 1.1 km from Rian Bunko Art Museum, less than 1 km from Sky Mall 21 Shopping Street and a 11-minute walk from Okayama Baptist Church. Featuring a shared lounge, the 3-star hotel has air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi, each with a private bathroom. The property is non-smoking and is set 600 metres from AEON Mall Okayama. At the hotel, all rooms are fitted with a desk, a flat-screen TV, a shared bathroom, bed linen and towels. All guest rooms will provide guests with a fridge. Popular points of interest near Super Hotel Okayama Station Higashiguchi include Shimoishii Park, Momotaro Statue and Rokkosei Memorial Statue. The nearest airport is Okayama Airport, 15 km from the accommodation.

The bed is very wide and convenient, with sockets and USB beside the bed. Because the hotel cannot store luggage when the front desk is away, it is inconvenient, which is the only drawback.

We used it for business. The front desk was empty around ２１ when we arrived. It is a little difficult to understand the entrance, but you will go up to ２ floor by elevator. (The entrance is closed at ２４, and then a card key is required) The elevator will always stop once on the ２ floor when you go up or down. Room clothes are not prepared in the room, so they are taken out of the locker equipped near the front desk. The room was highly confidential and the noise outside was blocked. There was also a humidifier, so there seems to be no worry about drying.

This hotel is set in a great location of Okayama, close to the shoutengai, Okayama castle and the JR station with lots of choice for food close by. Staff friendly and helpful. Would not recommend to use their car park or listen to the hotels advice on parking, we were quoted 2700¥ for a nights parking, when we took a look in the area we found parking for 900¥ for 24 hours. Room very nice if a little dated, lack of public ofuro was a little sad but what else to expect at this price. Bathroom a little small, but definitely ok again for the price. No breakfast offered or provided, so can’t really give any advice on this. However there is an amazing cafe around the corner that sells freshly made croissants 🥐 

Everything is perfect! Good location, impeccable service, cleanliness. It was nice to have access to a public bath and a massage chair. Thank you for the wonderful stay experience!

We used it for event participation at Okayama Convention Center. It is directly connected to Okayama Station and it is very easy to move. It is also convenient to Okayama Convention Center. I think it depends on the location of the room, but the room I stayed this time was able to see the platform of Okayama Station from the room, so I think that is also attractive for those who like trains. There are many restaurants in the station building of Okayama Station and there is no inconvenience in eating. It is a very recommended hotel for those who have a business at the Convention Center since early morning at Okayama Station late at night.

We used the twin room. The twins we stayed in were on the top floor, the room, bath, toilet were all large, and when we opened the curtain, there was an open-air bath of the size of adults ４ names, and it was very relaxing. The direct meal is delicious and Okayama like Muscat dessert. The underground hot spring is artificial radium, but the body was healed by the large bath.
