Don't be fooled by the Sheraton brand. This does not live up to the same quality you'd come to expect from the brand and is let down by a very poor restaurant, a tiny bar, and rooms in need of urgent refurbishment. The initial approach area outside and reception areas are okay, but after getting my keycard, my first impressions of my room were like something out of the 80s. Orangey brown, fake wood furniture, orange chairs and carpet, and a TV on a freestanding glass table type thing. Not even wall-mounted. No stocked mini-bar (even though there were two in my room weirdly) and absolutely no tea or coffee-making facilities! Not even a kettle! Being on the ground floor meant you could not open the window, and add to that the sheer heat in the room meant you certainly would get very hot, very quickly as there is no air-conditioning, The bathroom was a slight improvement, but even so, it was dated. Plenty of brown marks and mold around the shower tray, along with just two towels. The restaurant was probably one of the worst I have had the misfortune to experience. The fact no one was in there should have been a warning sign, and the limited menu and expense should have spurred me to leave. But I stayed. With just six main meal items on the menu and the price of a Michelin-starred restaurant, I was expecting quality food. However, my chicken with pea puree was pretty poor and incredibly small. And that was it. Chicken on some pea puree. No accompaniments, no vegetables. All for €30. It was a shame, as the location is good, but on the whole, this hotel needs an urgent refit and someone to give the restaurant a shake-up.

I wouldn't stay here again. Prior to writing this review I reached out to the hotel directly (no response) and via ********** twice. The general state of the hotel is uncared for and unkept. I understand that a refurbishment is in progress and perhaps I had one of the un-refurbished rooms. I actually only stayed in the hotel for 1 night (even though I booked for 7). We left after finding blood stains on the shower curtain in the room. When I told reception about it, they said.. ”we'll see what we can do”. My husband and I went out for the day and returned to discover that what they could do was remove the shower curtain altogether. Frustrated and disgusted by finding blood staines, I found a new hotel and checked out of this one. Blood stained curtains raised far too many questions about the general hygiene practices of the hotel to remain. I honestly started to question what else could have been ”missed”. Upon requesting a refund for an unsanitary room it was declined. The reasoning was that I left without telling anyone about the issue? To that I say it's probably time to review your policies so that a guest complaint to reception about about bodily fluids found anywhere in the room is considered raising an issue. This response is simply reflective of the general approach to hospitality and customer care. IF you choose to book this place book a refundable room and be prepared to move.

B&B Hotel Offenbach-Kaiserlei

Offenbacham Main Offenbach am Main|2.93km from city centre
We stayed more often in the hotel during the ”IBIS” time. Each time with an excellent breakfast at a reasonable price. What was expected to us now under ”B&B Hotel” was a expensive disappointment. Price performance is not matching in any way. On the first day there was not even butter or margarine. At request, they were told that they would not have the Please? At the complaint at the reception we were informed that B&B offers 80% Bio. And? Butter/Margarine is also in Bio. Bio - but an OFFEN !!!!!! Nutella glass with a knife stands on the buffet table (if you can call it at all) with a knife inside. In the present time? Is this allowed for hygienic reasons at all? I can't imagine. On no day we found only a ”crumb” fresh fruit, or permanent sauce, rhein or S*****. Only a few varieties of cut ”fresh sauce”, cheese, yoghurt and marmelade glasses (also open with lime inside) were offered. Broad and breads (which were delicious) and cooked eggs (cold on the first day). The snack and the box were already significantly dirty. The cups inside had thick ”cafe changers” and other things, the bedding still holds rests. Bah...DAS would not have happened under IBIS. There was everything very rich, fresh and clean. The room was ok and clean. But, completely overheated. To do this heavy top beds: sauna perfect. Air conditioning seems not to have worked. The bathroom was so far OK, up to the shower head. It was already quite habitually needed, as it was roughly flat and something else ... Handtuchs were on 1. Day only available for 1 person (relived on day 2, both soap donors were empty. The shower was not cleaned. A high on the house keeping. For us certainly not again, not at all with breakfast. If at all???? In any case, we no longer recommend to business partners and friends.

Hotel Mainbogen

There are very poor 3 stars in German proportion. From outside draws like a broken house, inside decoration is also appropriate. When washing hands, the grip has triggered. Heating equipment available but doesn't work, so very cold nights can be picked up cold. Nice but very rectangular staff from East Block. Room phone sounds without grounds in midnight and it's not just once. Walls are so thin that you can hear all the small noises from outside and can't sleep through because of drunk guests. Then a staff member comes unsolicited 2 hours before the specified check-out time and asks to stand up what is not acceptable at all. It is an hotel like developing countries. For that, the bed was very good and hand+bathroom of some mass good. At last, everyone must know where to book.

I have just spent 4 days at this hotel for a workshop. I must state right away that I hadn't booked a room; only the seminar room, lunch and dinner. Firstly - and this isn't anything that can be helped, but should be mentioned - the hotel is situated in the MIDDLE of monumental construction (which, by the looks of it, will continue for a loooooong time), cannot easily be accessed due to roads being renewed, the parking lot is in the middle of the building site (dirty, dusty puddles and pebbles). The hotel itself has the brutal charm of 1980s concrete and doesn't seem to welcome you. The meals were buffet only, and sadly nothing to write home about. Tepid and soggy. However, the snacks served during the coffee breaks were prettily served and good. The staff was friendly and funny and helpful, which made up for a lot! I spend quite a bit of time at workshops in hotels across Germany and must unfortunately say, this one didn't make the grade. I cannot imagine where they got their 4 stars.

Work always takes you up to interesting destinations and this time around it was Germany. It seemed like a great stay next to the backyard river with a jogging and cycling track thrown in, had a wonderful time at this great small property with a mini gym and breakfast buffet thrown in. A special mention for the wonderful staff specially Violetta'bajraja' ( I hope I remember her name correctly)at the check in desk which welcomes everyone around with a smile and is always willing to walk the extra mile for the guests, all in all a good property with big rooms and comfortable stay, I wish all it's members a very best for the future endeavours cheers!

Things didn't start off well, to be honest. The guy at the front desk ”couldn't find” the reservation and we spent a good five minutes discussing this with him while showing him confirmation numbers, credit cards, etc. Finally he decided to look in a drawer and miraculously found the reservation. Then I requested a wake up call for 3 hours later which actually came the next morning. I DID make sure to request the call for zwansig Uhr and not for acht Uhr. Aside from these two errors, though, the hotel was great. The room was spacious, more than enough bathroom towels and the breakfast buffet was fantastic. Props to the breakfast crew for letting us eat when we showed up later than we should have (I think we walked in 5 minutes before it was to shut down). They didn't hurry us out or make us uncomfortable, they just let us eat and even told us there was no need to hurry - because we were hurrying. The front desk staff after our check in were great. Extremely helpful and knowledgeable about the local area and went above and beyond to assist us.
