HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE NEVER GO TO THIS HOTEL UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE TREATED LIKE S*** This is my experience: I travel with a dog and I searched through Booking the hotels that accept dogs. This hotel was in the list but just to be sure I wrote a WhatsApp to ask them, at the beginning they asked me how big is the dog, but then they changed and they said that THE HOTEL DON'T ACCEPT DOGS. I asked one more question but the guy in WhatsApp answered me that he had a day off and didn't know (???). For a problem with booking website (I was on another hotel page but the connection was bad and I don't know what happened recharging the page), I find myself paying 83€ at this hotel. I wrote IMMEDIATELY at the WhatsApp number and also through Booking explaining that I had a problem with Booking website and that for a mistake I payed 83€ but I couldn't come because they don't accept dogs. I kindly asked a reimbursement which was refused several times. As I had to go to another hotel nearby, the next morning I decided to pass by and to talk directly to the reception to explain the issue I had with the website but the receptionist was VERY IMPOLITE, DIDN'T WANT TO LET ME TALK AND EXPLAIN and invented a story that there was some other company owning the hotel (which is NOT TRUE) and that I had to ask Booking for the reimbursement. He said to write an email that would be forwarded to the owner but guess what?? The same guy answered to me directly at my email (do you think we are all stupid??) Things like this can happen when booking online and as I talked previously with the WhatsApp number, I would expect more comprehensive and human behaviour. The difference between humans and machines is the ability to understand the different situations, but apparently in this hotel all they care about is money. Never go to this hotel because once you paid they don't care about you at all, they are NOT NICE WITH THE CUSTOMERS, don't care about being good with the people, don't let you talk and explain, hope to never have a problem because they will never even try to help. Don't make my mistake and don't pay one single dime to this dirty hotel managed by not professional people.

I wouldn't stay here again. Prior to writing this review I reached out to the hotel directly (no response) and via ********** twice. The general state of the hotel is uncared for and unkept. I understand that a refurbishment is in progress and perhaps I had one of the un-refurbished rooms. I actually only stayed in the hotel for 1 night (even though I booked for 7). We left after finding blood stains on the shower curtain in the room. When I told reception about it, they said.. "we'll see what we can do". My husband and I went out for the day and returned to discover that what they could do was remove the shower curtain altogether. Frustrated and disgusted by finding blood staines, I found a new hotel and checked out of this one. Blood stained curtains raised far too many questions about the general hygiene practices of the hotel to remain. I honestly started to question what else could have been "missed". Upon requesting a refund for an unsanitary room it was declined. The reasoning was that I left without telling anyone about the issue? To that I say it's probably time to review your policies so that a guest complaint to reception about about bodily fluids found anywhere in the room is considered raising an issue. This response is simply reflective of the general approach to hospitality and customer care. IF you choose to book this place book a refundable room and be prepared to move.

The hotel is showing its age, in places it is unkempt and not inviting. The rooms are extremely uncomfortable and exude the charm of a storage room with their bright lights and 80s faux leather furniture. Only the bathroom was new, but that did not improve my overall impression.

The two of us arrived at the Hotel Offenbacher Hof yesterday. The parking situation was very problematic. The hotel has a separate parking lot behind the courtyard. Entering the parking lot is a mammoth task. Someone with a very wide car cannot fit through without getting a scratch. Far too narrow and not enough space to get straight into the gap. When we arrived at the hotel we went into our 2 rooms (each of us had one). First impression was a very musty smell, well. When I wanted to go into the shower after the long car journey and closed the curtain in the room, half of it fell off the ceiling and I was convinced that there was a lot of dirt on the floor. The bathroom was very thinly soundproofed so I could also hear the noises from the neighbor. The shower was great but after I opened the bathroom door I realized that all the water from the shower was coming out of the joints (strip) on the wall. I had to stop the water with all the towels I had - a shame that they were all wet and there was no heating to dry them. Unfortunately we were very late for our appointment otherwise I would have complained immediately. That night when I wanted to go to bed and the neighbor in the other room wanted to go to his club until 3:00 a.m. I couldn't sleep because I was coughing. The problem was the dust that was also in the bed. I thought I would watch a bit of TV before I fell asleep, but what a pity the TV was completely broken and didn't work. After a sleepless night I'm glad I checked out straight away. Never again a pity!

The beds are much too soft, I couldn't sleep for two days and I went home with back/neck pain. In the breakfast room, someone spoke to me in English even though I'm in Germany and GERMAN is a prerequisite for me. My colleague couldn't sleep the first night because a BASS shook through the hotel all night. Next to us, a foreigner was having such a loud conversation that my translator app understood everything the guest was saying. The rooms are coldly furnished; there wasn't even a picture on the wall. The bathroom was flooded every day and was much too small. There weren't enough power sockets. The TV remote control didn't work. The room was clean, though, and there were fresh towels. Breakfast had good scrambled eggs and not enough choice of healthy breakfast options. Jam from a plastic packet, no fresh juices. Poor fruit selection. I wouldn't recommend the hotel.

For a 4-star hotel (high-end accommodation), I was disappointed. A tiny elevator in the room, no courtesy accessories (not even a pencil and a piece of paper), very noisy, slamming doors... The bedding and linen, sheets and towels are not of high quality... I I appreciated the spacious room and the modern bathroom.
