Had a wonderful break away in the Bridge House Hotel. Susan on reception is very welcoming. Our room wasn't ready so she allotted us another one. Only complaint about room it was a bit small. The hotel is lovely had drinks in library bar and dinner in the resturant both nights. Food was excellent. Resturant manager lovely staff pleasant. I'm in a wheelchair and staff were very accommodating. All in all lovely stay in beautiful surroundings will return.

Having stayed for one night the hotel is in a great location to town and with parking facilities. The reception staff were very friendly on arrival and helpful with local restaurant recommendations. Overall the hotel is tired and in need of updating. We booked a Charleville room and whilst the bathroom and bed were new the paint work was dark and in need of painting. Breakfast had a variety of options and was cooked to order although our poached eggs were served with water running over the plate!

We were looking forward to this stay, thinking to get a luxury touch to our travel but what a disappointment! Must be beautiful hotel many years ago, nowadays needs desperately maintenance and more care. The beautiful lobby is probably the best part of it. Our room was facing backyard with view to rubbish and ruins. In bathroom was missing paper tissues; the bed was uncomfortable with too soft or too worn mattress; window was broken and couldn’t get closed neither opened. In middle of the night I was woken by the neighbors no sound proof whatsoever! But the worst experience was the spa - silly rule to wear the cap which no one respect; dirty changing room with broken shower and dirty lockers; no long chairs around the pool where one could relax; cold water with too much disinfection in it and staff who couldn’t care less… the facilities looked very old, tiles were broken on many spots, well we rather left. Honestly we will not be back! Not worth the money at all, one night for nearly EUR 300 with breakfast in this hotel is robbery! The staff probably know as no one bothered to ask how was our stay!

RE: COELIAC BREAKFAST. Hotel did everything right!!! When I went to restaurent, staff treated me like normal person. He went through all the foods I was allowed to eat and that was lots of food. Got fabulous irish bacon and egg grill..lovely. Staff were assertive hence I could enjoy my breakfast in full.

Very disappointed dat the restaurant menu has not been updated on the website had my heart set on the duck which used to be amazing an I had googled the menu but obviously it has changed poor choice of menu please update menu on your website thank you very much

Staff were friendly and there alot working there. Myself and husband stayed for 2 nights Thursday and Friday. We visited spa on Thursday I thought would b bigger going by photos online but staff very friendly and treatment was lovely. Hotel is very central beside good pubs and resturants. Nice big lobby in hotel. Friday night was dj playing in bar was great atmosphere but we couldn't hear it in our room when went to bed. Breakfast was lovely, made freshly on request. The reason marked down was room very small and heat was ridiculous. We complained to reception told us open window but wouldn't open and we were looking out at trash they were pigeons on ledge all time. Finally offer us a fan so ask one for your room. For price we paid for 2 nights not worth money for room.
