The food was excellent. Our group of 3 had, Sea Bass, a Steak and grilled salmon. Plus fresh Irish Gold oysters accompanied by an excellent Sav Blanc and glasses of red wine with our cheese plate for dessert. Service was impeccable with a friendly and happy young woman who clearly was experienced in her work. The atmosphere is formal but the service was quite friendly and attentive without being aloof or arrogant. This being October the weather was not conducive to sitting outdoors which would be a lovely experience in Spring/Summer. This is not a budget restaurant but is well worth the experience to celebrate an event or simply enjoy a fantastic meal when you want a quiet and elegant atmosphere to dine.

De Beukenhof offers great classical French dishes at fair prices for this level of cooking. There is ample parking space next to the restaurant. The layout is spacious, offering lots of privacy and still keeping it cosy. Staff is attentive and service is at the right pace. In the summer you can have dinner in the garden. Great wines on offer as well! Price to quality ratio good.

Wij komen hier al vaker dineren, maar dit keer wist de chef en zijn team ons toch weer zeer aangenaam te verrassen met zijn menu en a la carte gerechten. Zeker de gerechten waarin werkelijk uitmuntend bereidde asperges zaten waren heerlijk. Ook de terrine was perfect en dit keer werd er ook niet een klein plakje maar de juiste hoeveelheid voorgeschoteld. De grote verrassing bij de vlees gerechten was de Griekse rode wijn van domaine Dimitris Migas, ΠΑΛΑΙΟΣ ΑΜΠΕΛΟΣ wat zoveel als “ oude wijnstok” betekend. Een mooie volle rode wijn die gedurfd op de kaart staat en terecht. Complimenten aan de chef en het bediende team zijn ook zeer zeker op zijn plaats. Tot de volgende keer.

Kooruitje met twijfelachtige nasmaak High Tea met lauwe thee en nog véél meer 'low' dan high.. Na het lauwe welkomstdrankje kwamen er potten met lauw water voor de thee... Na drie kwartier: een piepkleine amuse, gevolgd door een lauw soepje met weinig smaak. Na weer driekwartier : schalen met droge onduidelijk belegde sandwiches in hoeveelheden die meer geschikt waren voor bootwerkers dan voor dames op leeftijd. Op ons verzoek kregen we weer potten met 'warm' water en na expliciet vragen ook de mogelijkheid om koffie te drinken. Uiteindelijk verschenen de etagères met de zoete hapjes die niet uitblonken in originaliteit en versheid. Klachten werden afgedaan met excuus: er is een nieuwe kok... Oefff Jammer, want ik was beter gewend in Villa De Beukenhof

Mooie kamer Parijs, fijne grote badkamer met ligbad en goed bed. Wel wat gehorig, was nog erg veel geluid tot na middernacht van mensen die laat in het restaurant blijven. Ramen waren ook enkel glas dus ook wat gehorig van buiten. Restaurant zag er gezellig uit maar zijn wij niet blijven eten.

We bestelden Kreeft, Vitello Tonato, Bisque, Coquille, Carpaccio en Zeebaars. De zeebaars en de Coquille waren erg lekker. De Bisque van Noordzeekrab was niet vers maar ook niet verkeerd. De halve Kreeft had ook beter gekund maar de Vitello Tonnato was zeer slecht. Van kalfslende was naar mijn smaak geen sprake laat staan voor de tonijn. De dressing was uitgedroogd en zeer teleurstellend. De franse kok moet hier z'n handen niet aan brandden. Maar onze hond genoot er van.Ook de carpaccio was van een zeer matige kwaliteit, de truffel was zelfs vergeten.En dan krijgen we ongevraagd een broodje waar u €.4.75 voor rekent, heel vreemd. Verder is de keuze van water zeer beperkt en de wijnkaart uitgebreid maar voor de crew te hoog gegrepen. We zagen ook geen sommelier. Het dessert was prima. Een dessertwijn was na enig aandringen vindbaar.Jammer dat de bonbons die we bestelden niet kwamen en moesten we het doen met een voor ingepakt nougat blokje.bij de koffie. Met 12 personen gisteren geluncht Prijs/kwaliteit slecht. Voorgerecht 3 koude asperges met half gekookt ei met wat dressing. Hoofdgerecht (wéér) 2 lauwe asperges met twee rauwe , taaie lams koteletten met wat saus. Bakje patat en sla. Nagerecht twee profiteroles met witte chocolade saus. De presentatie was ook niets. Dit was het chefs menu. Ook het vegetarische gerecht stelde niet veel voor. Drie uur hiervoor aan tafel gezeten. U snapt… wij vonden het zeer teleurstellend en zullen dit restaurant niet aanraden.

Tolles Hotel, mit einer tollen Terrasse. Im Sommer ist diese bestimmt noch schöner als jetzt im Frühjahr. Die Tokyo-Suite besticht durch die gelungene Mischung aus Alt und Neu. Das Bett steht oben auf einer Empore, das Bad ist modern und luxuriös eingerichtet. Das Restaurant besticht durch zuvorkommendes Personal, eine große Weinkarte und exzellentes Essen, sowohl bei Optik und Geschmack. Das Frühstück ist reichhaltig und es werden alles wünsche erfüllt. Ein paar kleine Tipps zur Verbesserung: Offene Löcher in den Wänden abdecken (zum Beispiel durch Bilder oder Ähnliches) Eine Menükarte auf englisch 1-2 Steckdosen mehr (vor allem am Bett) Die Ecke der Airconditioning abpolstern
