About the only good part of my stay was the check in and check out. We stayed 4 days and NEVER had housekeeping. We had to go look for the housekeeping crew to get clean towels and to get our trash dumped. Ridiculous! Our room faced the swimming pool which was NOISILY being refurbished. We were not told about this. Thank goodness, the noise stopped at 6pm. The toilet runs very slowly and should be checked. For such a "fancy" hotel, they are cheap when it comes to buying channels on the Direct TV. Several channels we would have liked to have seen were not available. This is not the hotels fault, but guests on our floor were slamming doors at all hours. This is probably the worst place to stay out of all the motels I have stayed in in Odessa. AND no free breakfast.

This hotel used to be considered a luxury hotel, when it was a Hilton, but because of age and poor management, it no longer is. I'd love to see it get back to it's glory days but that won't happen without some renovations and better management, overall. That includes opening the bar back up with some changes in operation and much better management. And they need to revamp that restaurant. The prices are that of a 4-star restaurant, but the quality and service are that of a low-rate restaurant. Sometimes they will even refuse to follow through with room service because of being "short staffed". I suggest a change in management and obtaining a better chef. This hotel has the potential to be much greater than it is. If the owners would contact me, I have ideas to make that happen. Unless they don't care to be better and that's very possible. They seem to be satisfied with the temporary oilfield money. I suggest that they should strive to appeal to more than just the oilfield clients and there is a way to do that also. I can help.

In our bathroom it looked like no one had dusted the shelves under the sink. All the empty shelves were very dusty, so to me that meant the towels were too. We only stayed one night, the beds were good, but the noise was bad. We’ve stayed there before. It’s fine for a night or two. The service in the dining room was awful.

The restaurant inside this hotel is the best. The breakfast was filling, delicious and reasonable. The dinner was good and it was fun watching the cook put together the pasta meal.

At night there are alot of kids that eun around and noisy . You cant get rest if u are working.

It was a very rough day with family and got to the room close to 3am. I asked for late check out and the gave me till 2pm thank you for giving extra time to rest. I really appreciate that.
This hotel will be my home away from home from now on when in town
