Don’t stay here! It was so loud we couldn’t sleep. It was right next to the freeway, and we have stayed in hotels next to freeways before, but not as noisy as this one. Maybe Odessa doesn’t have a noise ordinance, but it sure has an over abundance of vehicles with loud exhaust systems! Add to that the strobing light on the fire suppression system directly above the bed and sleep was next to impossible!

Unexpected inconveniences not recompensed enough The hotel itself is very nice. Room was great and breakfast very good. But when we arrived Friday night we found that the power had been out and that the entire hotel was "re-booting." Elevators were out and had to walk up 3 flights of stairs with luggage. I have a knee disability so this was bad. Fortunately, another, younger guest helped me and my wife out. Also, as expected, internet and TV service was out as well. Then, to top it off, the fire (false) alarm sounded at 5:30 AM leading to an evacuation. This went on for an hour with neither the staff not the local fire dept able to figure out how to reset it. Neither I, nor any other guests to my knowledge, received any discount or refund. We were offered only IHG points. I understand that problems happen. But I think IHG was very stingy in providing inadequate compensation for the inconvenience. I am not sure if I would ever stay there again.

Very noisy. Trucks going by all day and night. Dirty floors. Fingernail on the floor. Hair in the sink. Pillows smelled less than fresh. TV glitch All the time. Breakfast below average. Service, excellent!

Staff is very good. Friendly and efficient. No waiting. Only one flaw: I asked if the clock would be changed to daylight saving time overnight. Both of them had no clue. It did.

Clean and looked nice. Next to a truck stop and not much else in the immediate area. I didnt feel unsafe but some might.
