Die Buttermilchwaffeln waren leider nicht frisch, wurden kalt serviert und von der Konsistenz und Geschmack sehr nahe an der Discounter Netto-Fabrikwaffel - nur eben diagonal geschnitten und kleiner als branchenüblich. Die Kirschenbeilage war ebenfalls dürftig, sei es vom Geschmack als auch von der Menge mit 5 Kirschen im kleinen Glasschälchen. Unser befreundetes Ehepaar, er ist Konditormeister, stufte die Waffeln als gekaufte Discounterware ein. Für ordentliche Ware würde ich auch ein bis zwei Euro mehr als die 7,90 € bezahlen.

Wir haben hier in einer Gruppe von Freunden mit vier Personen übernachtet. Die Zimmer waren zweckmäßig und neuwertig eingerichtet, es fehlte nichts. Das Bad war modern und blitzsauber. Zum Abendessen im Restaurant wählten wir das Überraschungsmenü. Zu meiner allergrößten Überraschung: an der Küste komplett fischfrei. Aber äußerst kreativ und alles sehr schmackhaft - eben eine Überraschung. Das Frühstück war nicht üppig aber mehr als befriedigend, der Service jeweils sehr freundlich und kundenorientiert. Wir hatten viel Spaß iim Siel59. Das Hotel liegt ideal an den Fähren zu den friesischen Inseln und Halligen und bietet sich für einen Stop nach oder vor der Fähre an.

Wir waren kurz nach Dagebüll auf der Rückreise von Föhr mit unserem Auto liegen geblieben und konnten leider nicht mehr weiterfahren. Haben auf unkomplizierte Weise ein tolles Zimmer für drei Personen und Hund bekommen. Alle waren unglaublich freundlich, haben uns geholfen und Tipps gegeben, wo wir die nächste Werkstatt finden. Wir haben uns total wohl gefühlt und können das Hotel nur wärmstens weiterempfehlen. Die Betten sind sehr bequem, das Frühstück war nett und alles ist sehr ordentlich.
