Club Wyndham Oceanside Pier Resort

The Wyndham Oceanside Pier Resort was amazing. They have activities for all ages and are so very close to the beach.

Great location, friendly staff, and comfortable rooms. The only downside is that if you’re staying in the south tower facing east, there’s a noticeable smell of garbage and sewage when the windows or balcony door are open. Overall we would recommend this location.

What is unique about the property is that there is not cleaning service, or considerate. We stayed 3 nights, and there was not an option for changing sheets or cleaning bathroom etc.. It’s more of a time share hotel. I wasn’t prepared for that, but as long as you are, I guess it could work. We had door dash for coffee in the morning, and was never offered the service of getting it delivered to our room, but they wouldn’t allow door dash to bring it up either! The pool and workout area however were beautiful and well maintained and clean. The view from the pool is gorgeous!

Upon arrival at the hotel — after a long journey and with a confirmed reservation in hand — I was informed that the property was overbooked and could not honor my booking. Shockingly, neither the hotel nor ******* made any attempt to contact me in advance to notify me of this situation. There was no email, no phone call, no alternative arrangements proactively offered. This is not just an oversight — it is a clear breach of contract and a total collapse in operational competence. Worse still, I was forced to accept a last-minute relocation to a different hotel, which was of demonstrably lower quality and in a less desirable location. This disrupted my itinerary, wasted my time, and significantly impacted the quality of my trip — both personally and professionally.
