BayVue Hotel, Resort & Suites

This place is a rip off. I made a reservation and had a change of plans. When I tried to cancel within their policy, they referred me back to the 3rd party booking service. Long story short, they kept bouncing me back and forth, with no response when I emailed them directly until it became too late and they charged me for the overnight stay anyway.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this hotel, with wonderful staff and clean rooms, with comfy beds and a little sitting/eating area. The pool and hot tub are popular features, and the breakfast is amazing with full warm options as well as fruit, cereal, yogurt, mini cinnamon rolls and beverages. It’s got a friendly vibe and folks were playing board games in the evenings in the lobby area.

I stayed here in a 3rd (top) floor king-bed suite on the north side closer to the beach side of the hotel with a view out to the beach/ocean from the angled window. The room was spacious and clean. As frequently is the case with places close to the beach, the bathroom was showing some salt air aging here and and there on the metal parts, but everything was clean and otherwise well-maintained. The staff was pleasant and helpful. The breakfast was more than ample and kept very well-stocked despite the hungry crowds. The bed was comfortable. The provided shampoo, conditioner, and soaps were of nice quality. The free wifi and free parking were nice to have included also. If you want to come relax in a little beach community, stay close to the beach in a place that is clean and even includes a full breakfast in its reasonable rate, then give this place a try! Since I came here for a little break to have some time to walk on the beach and enjoy the fresh ocean air, this was a nice place for me to accomplish those goals without spending tons of money on a fancy hotel room. I would stay here again when I find myself in the area again.

if you come with low expectations, you won’t · unfortunately, we had lots of issues… I think the hotel is in major need of updating. My window on my room did not lock, and I was on the first floor, the TV did not work, living room curtains, dirty, and the bathroom shower in need of repair. saggy beds, very uncomfortable. The pool area, had major issues as well… From the whole room filling up with steam were you couldn’t even see, lots of hair, and such floating in the pool, where it was icky. The hot tub being completely brown. the junior suites don’t have a hide a bed. just a couch. to top it all off I had a fall and their dining room, and I was told the manager would be in touch and I never heard a thing . if you come with low expectations, you won’t be disappointed….That’s what one of the employees told us. My family has been staying at this hotel for many many years and never had a bad experience until this year…

Yuck! Run down, poorly run, WAY overly priced and neglected property. We had the top tier suite with ocean views and the view was also of a giant garbage receptacle. Ugh….Room wasn’t stocked with basic things, front desk was anything but helpful and the elevator was sometimes working and mostly not. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere.
