Great view of Hallstatt lake and near the ferry pier. It’s self check in and out no staff all day long so mo service to keep luggage.

Booked at very last minute when i was in Hallstatt. Glad i found this gem. My room facing the Hallstatt lake and just walking distance to Obertraun train station and also the bus stop. The village is pretty awesome too. Comfy bed and huge balcony. The view was stunning! The instructions given for self check in was very helpful and accurate too.

The location is quite far away from Hallstatt if you are planning to use this as a base (ard 10-20 min bus or 5 min train + ferry if you catch the train), but the view and price definitely compensate it. The view is really fantastic and you can see Hallstatt and the absolutely stunning lake view from your room if you book the balcony one. It is a really good deal for me. The staff is also very nice and friendly.
But do note that luggage storage is a paid service (2 euro for one day so I thk its not bad). Also you only have your own bathroom, but not toilet in your room (in my case I have to walk a little to find my toilet which is shared within 2 rooms) If you do not mind these, this is a perfect room with the perfect view!

I arrived this hotel at 14/6 and discovered no reception. I phoned to hotel staff far from hotel to get code for get door key in hotel key box. But he was impolite& unhelpful.He only informd code already send to me.But l did not receive .At last, I could not check in.He knew me not to live in but still received 2days fee& complained to me by email.

Nice hotel, clean and friendly staff. Need to take bus to travel to Hallstatt. Overall is good experience.
