We visited this hotel during a trip through several places in Oberbayern. We stayed for two nights. The reception was very efficient and friendly. They explained everything and gave us some nice tips. Since we traveled with a dog we asked whether we could take the dog to the dinner. They explained this was not possible in the normal dining room. But they prepared a very nice table in the bar. The food was good and the service again friendly and efficient. The room was big and nicely maintained (Comfort Room Plus). Everything was clean and working. The breakfast which was included in our room was rich and tasty. They had a very good variety of local bread and pastry. We also could charge the Electric Vehicle with newly installed wall boxes. All in all a nice stay (except the weather which was not their fault). We would come back if we return to Oberstdorf one day.

The hotel is located close to restaurants and centre of beautiful village of Oberstdorf. The hotel is a 4 star hotel so my expectations were higher. Expectations were met by the excellent buffet breakfast BUT the sleeping and "living area" of the single room I had was disappointing: There was not enough space on the floor to even lay-down my suitcase to open it with ease; and The single bed I had was too narrow, even though the Management commented that I actually had been "upgraded without cost" and that I had the "larger" single bed, after I raised my criticism. Like most hotels in Bavaria, a negative are the "flat" bed cushions, which, even if you use 2, both collapse as your head rests on them thus not providing the head support you need for good sleep

Ich kann das Hotel Filser rundum empfehlen. Die Buchung war schon sehr einfach, der Empfang war super freundlich und das gesamte Personal ist aufmerksam und gastorientiert. Darüber hinaus sind die Zimmer sehr heimelig eingerichtet und die Reinigungskraft ist sehr herzlich und verrichtet ihren Job perfekt. Ich bin rundum zufrieden.

Schöner Blick aus dem Zimmer auf die Berge. Abendessen optisch gelungen. Ganz unweigerlich hat sich der Koch große Mühe beim Anrichten gegeben. Qualitativ und geschmacklich oft nicht zufriedenstellend.

Unser Aufenthalt war sehr angenehm. Alle Mitarbeiter waren immer sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Bei schlechtem Wetter konnte man sich sehr gut in dem Wellness Bereich entspannen.

Schöner und sportlicher Urlaub in Oberstdorf. Alle geplanten MTB-Touren und Bergwanderungen wurden zur vollsten Zufriedenheit erfüllt, Der Aufenthalt im Hotel Filser war sehr angenehm und erholsam. Meine Frau und ich kommen sehr gerne wieder.

Ein schöner Aufenthaltsort in Oberstdorf, tolle Mitarbeiter und das Essen ist wirklich gut. Unschön war, dass ich einen Schnupperaufenthalt gebucht hatte, der eine Massage beinhaltet. Diese wurde mir um 8h morgens zugeteilt! ohne Möglichkeit auf Verschiebung, weil noch dazu die Masseurin in dieser Woche nachmittags frei hatte. Da macht jemand sein Problem zu meinem! Auf den Vorschlag, die Massage zu stornieren und mir dafür mit einem Verzehrgutschein entgegen zu kommen, bot man mir ein Glas Wein an. Sehr knauserig!! Des Weiteren: Die Premium Gästekarte beinhaltet so gut wie nichts: ich war eine Woche mit der Alpinschule unterwegs und alle Mitwanderer, die in günstigeren Häusern abgestiegen waren, hatten die Bergbahnen inkludiert…nicht so beim Hotel Filser. Viele Busse sind ebenfalls nicht im Ticket enthalten. Ich war nicht das erste Mal im Filser, aber nach so vielen kleinen Erlebnissen, die für mich nicht passen, sicherlich das letzte Mal.
