Wir waren für eine Woche zum Skifahren in dem Hotel Berggenuss Birgsau. Die Lage ist hervorragend. Zur Talstation am Fellhorn sind es nur 2km und der Skibus hält direkt vor der Tür. Eine Langlaufloipe startet direkt hinter dem Haus. Der Blick auf die umliegenden Berge ist natürlich schön. Das Hotel ist sehr gemütlich eingerichtet. Der allgegenwärtige Teppichboden und Kaminfeuer verbreiten den Charme eines Winter-Chalets. Das Hotel hat auch ein sehr gemütliches und gut sortiertes Lesezimmer, welches man auch zum Brettspielen nutzen kann. Unser Zimmer war sauber und ebenfalls gemütlich eingerichtet. Einziges Manko ist, dass Schlaf- und Wohnzimmer zwar durch einen Durchgang aber nicht durch eine Tür getrennt sind. Mit kleinen Kindern ist es daher schwierig sich in dem Zimmer aufzuhalten, wenn diese bereits schlafen. Der Saunabereich ist klein aber sehr gepflegt. Das Schwimmbad ist schön und gut temperiert. Das Frühstück ist reichhaltig und hat alles was man erwartet. Das Abendessen fällt dagegen leider etwas ab. Die Gerichte sind nicht wirklich schlecht aber aufgrund der doch gehobenen Preisklasse (25€ +) kann man hier ein bisschen mehr erwarten. Die Hotelmitarbeiter sind durch die Bank freundlich
