Reception and reception were very friendly. All documents were perfectly prepared. Just as the guest would like. The room was equipped with everything you could wish for. Spacious and clean. The room service was also as you would wish. And always done when the guest is away. The guided hikes by 3 different friendly women also brought variety to the day. I was able to experience new corners of the Allgäu with them. The cuisine is just as you chose it. "Low calories" is not a feast. But with these guidelines, they did the very best. Varied and always beautifully served. The service at mealtimes should also be praised. Fast, discreet, courteous and friendly. Ivana was distinguished by her optimism and cheerfulness. We stayed at the Rosenalp in suite room 103 from December 22nd to 26th, 2023. Unfortunately, when we arrived, we discovered that it was cold in the suite. We complained about it immediately and the next day to reception. We were then told that this was due to the outside sensor. However, after it got warm in the suite on the 3rd day, but the outside temperature had not changed, it was clear to us that it was because the house had been closed for a few weeks. We would have expected that the rooms in this house would also be preheated at this time. We went to the Rosenalp over Chris**as and wanted to spend a few nice Chris**as days there in the Allgäu. Unfortunately, there was no trace of Chris**as flair or Chris**as spirit. No Chris**as music and hardly any decorations apart from a small Chris**as tree. The Chris**as menu could also have been a gala menu, because it was a day like 364 other days. I was on the Schroth cure for 5 weeks in 2023, and many years before that too. We were therefore more than disappointed during these Chris**as holidays. After our stay, we made this disappoin**ent known to the owners in a friendly and objective manner in a personal email. Unfortunately, we have not received a response to this to date. That is why we have chosen to use this forum.

We were able to spend a week of fasting in the beautiful hotel. Everything, absolutely everything, was perfect down to the last detail! The luxurious accommodation, the fantastic spa area, the extensive sports and fitness options, the exquisite food including information, tips and tricks from the head chef himself, rounded off by the extremely professional and extremely friendly staff. Highly recommended at any time. We will definitely be back!

First of all, the "Sea of ​​Tranquility" therapeutic fasting program is not necessarily suitable for fasting beginners, as there is no supervision other than a 15-minute introduction and written instructions. Unprepared guests may find the week of fasting difficult. The "medical supervision" included in the service description is actually NOT included. Instead, the hotel books two appoin**ents for the guest in the local practice, which are charged directly to the guest. Weighing twice, measuring waist circumference and blood pressure, measuring ketones once - €135 extra gone, with no personal added value. You are only informed about the additional costs after the booking, which cannot be canceled free of charge - the reception thinks this is completely fine when I complained - a disgrace! It is also annoying that the telephone inquiry about table occupancy before booking is answered with "of course these are individual tables for meals". In fact, you are seated at tables for four with other guests. If you book a week in a 4* hotel for one and a half thousand euros, you can expect privacy at mealtimes and competent and reliable information from the hotel. In the end, you are left with the bitter aftertaste of not being taken seriously as a guest and of having been taken advantage of. It's a shame, because without these shortcomings you could perhaps actually have a relaxing time here.

- 1.5 points deducted for dirty bathrooms - 1.5 points deducted for the fact that the problems were not remedied despite complaints at reception. Even on arrival, the bathrooms were not cleaned properly and the sink was blocked. On the second day, the toilet and bathtub were not cleaned at all - but the toilet paper was folded nicely. Soap crusts on the shower entrance and water and tea stains around the kettle fit the overall impression. Despite complaints at reception, the cleaning was not done properly in the following days either. When we left, the repeated complaints at reception were also taken note of with some disinterest. I would have liked to give 5 points, but 1 week of therapeutic fasting in a 4* hotel in a junior suite for single use for € 2,100 with sloppy cleaning of the room and ignoring customer complaints is unacceptable. Unnecessary and extremely annoying for the guest! But not an issue that a committed hotel management with good will could not get under control. Those who are not too concerned about cleanliness or who do not care about value for money may have a pleasant time here.
