This stay was perfect in so many ways. We had 3 nights in a deluxe room. We tried both spas- the one where hotel guests enter for free and the one you have to pay extra for. First the spas: The one that is included is surprisingly good. My tip is to start off with that instead of the other way around like we did. The second one (yoniguni ) there was an additional charge of 60 euros pr room. That’s pretty ok for the quality of the spa. It was beautiful. The only negative to be said is the quality of the towels. Both in the spa and the room. They should be bigger and fluffier. Everything else is perfect. Outside Pool is perfectly clean. Nice sunbeds. Enjoyed every minute. A decent crowd- no children, just adults, peace and quiet. Very enjoyable. Room was of good size. We had room 165. The bathroom could have been a little bigger and have a more spa-feeling to it. The room had a great bed and a nice balcony with furniture. The air conditioning in the room made so much noise every night. Somehow we forgot every morning to ask for it to be fixed. It was really a LOT of noise. Like gravel being tossed around in intervals. We did remember upon check out to notify the front desk in order to perhaps spare the next ones using the room from sleepless nights. Front desk gave us a bottle of cremant as an apology. Sweet gesture as we didn’t really complain, just notified them. Restaurant- reserve in advance for outdoor seating. Very charming place and good food. Recommend! The bar is also great, you can sit in your bathrobe after the spa and enjoy refreshments. Breakfast was very good, lots of options. The only negative thing is that they had the worst cappuccino we have had throughout Europe in 3 weeks :-) Please upgrade your coffeemaker:-) All in all a perfect stay. Everyone we met were service minded and sweet. We highly recommend this hotel. And-the town of Obernai was super charming.

The hotel and spa is amazing, amnesties are great, clean, new and modern. The yonaguni spa is brand new, well made, the food is great. However the spa is very packed and loud, trying to relax in the hot stone relaxing room, you will barely hear the birds sounds and mostly hear people shouting and showers. What gave the 3/5 star is the incompetent staff. We drove hours to get there early at 9am, only to find out that the spa was opening only at 10am « exceptionally » this day, also to hear that real spa with sauna etc is only opening at 11am this day, with only the pool available until then. We arrived at 9:45 at the yonaguni entrance, greeted by the staff to tell us to wait at the bar enjoying a coffee. By the time we finish the coffee and get back, we find a long line with a queue time of 20mins. We thought to ourselves: « we were early, they could have just given us the lockers early so we could change straight away » but no. We waited and entered only at 10:30am. Telling the staff about our disappointing experience for a beginning of a relaxing day, the lady handled the situation quite agressively telling us that « it is what it is, it’s not their fault ». To put the cherry on the cake, when we arrive there was no parking inside the hotel so I parked in the street, they told us to come back later when some free spots would be available around midday. We asked the spa to call to ask if there was free spots, they replied that they didn’t know and we should come and see ourselves, refusing to take care of our car or luggages. By the way the parking spots are 20m from reception… well anyways I came out in my wardrobe and did it myself. Pretty disappointing for a beautiful hotel that has so much potential. Will not come back.

We spent 2 relaxing days at this fantastic hotel. We enjoyed great time at spa with family (pool, sauna, steam bath…), nice drinks at the bar and delicious dinner at the restaurant. Service was efficient and staff were very friendly. Obernai city centre is very closed and worth to explore

Fantastic hotel. The junior suite is charming and comfortable. The yonaguni spa is a dream come true: 2500 m2 of relaxation at its best. Had a full body massage from Clementine. She has magic hands! Do book a full day. It’s worth it and time fly

EXTREMENT DECEVANT !

I am sensitive to architecture and to work well done, and there is nothing to complain about there. Bravo to the companies that worked on this establishment. As for the culinary service, we are in excellence. Bravo to the whole team!

The only strength of this hotel is the Yonaguni SPA. The room services could be better, the room is in its original state, the decor needs to be redone. The restaurant's signature menu is disappointing, nothing exceptional, the menu needs to be reinvented. The pool and hotel bars have very slow service. On the other hand, there is an abundance of breakfast on offer.

We were disappointed by the hotel, The signature menu dinner is not up to the expected level. Cold and over-seasoned half-cooked tuna, my wife's duck breast barely warm... Breakfast is in the basement in a room without windows... The hotel SPA is well designed and the YONAGUNI SPA is excellent. The hotel bar, 20 minutes of waiting and having to move around to order, same at the outdoor pool bar A by the YONAGUNI SPA, the rest is not up to the expected level.
