A fairly simple hotel, three star I believe from the sign, basic but clean, comfortable and safe with a good location. Rooms are mostly 1st or 2nd floor with no lifts and some narrow staircases between 1st and 2nd floor. Most of the rooms are clustered around an inner courtyard, but some are facing outwards over town and it’s environs. The room was clean, slight shabby chic, with a good shower and kettle/provisions. If you wanted sleek ultra modern hotel, this isn’t for you. If you seek a decent comfortable stay and a good nights sleep then it most certainly works. My only gripes on room were first the coffee sachets in the room weren’t topped up each day, and when they were there was only two - but I’m sure you could ask for more from reception, and secondly, ventilation from the toilet could be better - whether the drains need a clean, or the fan needs to run longer, there was an occasional whiff as you came in the door, nothing major just noticeable. Breakfast was served in a light and airy breakfast room with a varied tasty buffet. There are no lunch or evening meal options, but some basic bar facilities. The hotel is town centre based and there are restaurants and bars within a few minutes walk, plus supermarkets not far away. Great stay, I’d happily return.
