Very warm and helpful staff, nice room with a beautiful view of the Renchtal, very good food, large outdoor terrace and beautiful walks in the immediate vicinity of the hotel. The hotel is a few minutes' walk from the beautiful historic center.

Wished for a peaceful night with the family, but got a room under the restaurant where a birthday party was going on. Terrible noice till long after the closing time of the restaurant. One of the worst nights in a hotel ever.

Wir waren etliche Male im Hotel bei Familie Balter zu Gast. Immer waren wir sehr zufrieden, insbesondere mit dem Frühstück!!! Zum April 2025 hat sich leider der Pächter geändert. Dieses mal war das Frühstück eine Frechheit, die Wurst war schon alt, war an den Rändern angelaufen und hat schon übel gerochen, keine Körnerbrötchen, Käsesorten sehr dürftig. Mit den Vorgängern nicht zu vergleichen, sollte sich beim Frühstück nichts ändern, suchen wir uns ein anderes Hotel im Renchtal

Nachdem wir tolle Erfahrungen beim 10. Black Forest Mini Run in diesem gepflegten Hotel schon vor 5 Jahren gemacht haben, wählten wir heuer vom 08.09. bis 10.09.2023 dieses bestens geführte Hotel erneut als Veranstalter Domizil aus. Wir wurden nicht enttäuscht! Nicht nur die Veranstalter Crew sondern auch alle Teilnehmer der Veranstaltung waren herzlich willkommen. Die Eigentümer Familie Balter betreibt das Hotel seit Jahren erfolgreich. Marianne Balter führt das Hotel mit viel Liebe und Herzblut, während Andreas Balter als Chef und Koch seine Gäste mit frischen Produkten aus der Region verwöhnt. Die hohe Servicequalität wird durch die langjährige Restaurantleiterin Lisa garantiert, die auch bei großem Andrang immer den Überblick behält. Das Hotel ist groß genug um auch größere Veranstaltungen (wie unsere) erfolgreich zu managen. Das Preis- Leistungsverhältnis ist in jeder Weise angemessen. Nicht zuletzt achtet man auf Nachhaltigkeit, was u.a. durch 2 Ladestationen für E-Mobilität untermauert wir. Unsere Gruppe (50 Rallyefahrer) wurde bestens betreut, das Personal war auch nach 0:00 Uhr noch verfügbar und versorgte uns mit leckeren Drinks. Wir werden gerne wiederkommen!
