We had a nice five day stay at the Focus hotel. We enjoyed the town, the hotel and the easy access to the train station. Other reviewers complained about the noise level of the rooms next to the train line. We did not find this to be a problem. For the first several days of our visit, with windows open, with wax earplugs, the noise level was fine. For the last few days, the weather got colder and we shut the windows and the sound from the trains was not a problem. Our room was very comfortable and the breakfast was enjoyable. The hotel staff that we encountered were all very helpful. We thought that Sursee was a very nice town and not nearly as touristy as Luzerne. We thought the Focus rooms were a great value when compared to the Luzerne hotels. Sursee is about 15-20 minutes by train from Luzerne.

Nice hotel, nice breakfast, friendly staff but misses on the most important thing with staying at a hotel for business. VERY noisy. Impossible to sleep there as hotel room is basically nearest neighbour to the trainline, and not very good noise isolated. Parking in basement safe and easy. Make sure to get a room on the "non-train" side of the hotel

Great location, near from the city center and just 4 minutes from the train station. Super clean and comfortable. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable about all aspects. I really enjoyed my first visit and I hope to come back again soon with my family.

High quality hotel, beautiful spacious room, well equiped. Try and book on the front road side not the rear which is adjacent to a train track which is noisy. Plenty of choice for breakfast and a very nice Thai restaurant attached. Staff very helpful, would stay again *****

This is a gem of a hotel. The staff were extremely friendly and professional - both when I organised my stay by Email and when I arrived. They were very helpful with my wishes. The room was comfortable and spacious. The parking house leads directly to the reception. Breakfast was super. The cherry on the icing: Home made Bircher Müesli with honey instead of sugar!

The hotel is very easy to reach from the train station. It took me just five minutes to walk there. I received a very warm and friendly welcome. The suite is relatively large, clean, functional and simple. Despite the proximity to the train station, I didn't notice any noise from the rail traffic.

Für ein normales Doppelzimmer war es sehr geräumig. Auch die Details des Interieur ist gut durchdacht. Die Kissen sind sehr gut. Sie geben dem Kopf Stabilität beim Schlafen. Das Zimmer war sehr gut geputzt. Das Frühstück war gut. Der Erdbeere/ Schokoladenaufstrich war sehr lecker und eine Abwechslung zu den normalen Aufstrichen die man sonst so bekommt. Das abräumen der Tische mit Hilfe eines Küchenwagens ist sicher effiziert aber nicht sehr schön anzuschauen. Vor allem weil die Dame das Geschirr nicht gerade sehr geräuscharm abgeräumt hatte. Die Dame an der Rezeption die uns ein - und auch wieder ausgecheckt hatte war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Asia Restaurant hat eine sehr gute Küche und wurde von Einheimischen und Hotelgästen besucht.

Wij zijn bij dit hotel terrecht gekomen door autopech. We hadden niks geboekt en kwam zo binnenlopen. Het personeel is zeer behulpzaam en heel vriendelijk. Ze hadden heel snel 2 kamers voor ons geregeld. Verder waren de kamer super en alle was goed schoon. Zeker voor herhaling vatbaar.

Dieses Hotel befindet sich in guter Lage, die Zimmer sind sehr schön eingerichtet. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist nicht nur ein Augenschmaus sondern sehr vielfältig und von hoher Qualität. Eine Tiefgarage ist gegen Gebühr ebenfalls Verfügbar. Sehr zu erwähnen ist das sehr freundliche Personal, man bemüht sich sehr um die Gäste und das Bestreben ist, dass aus einem einmaligen Besuch ein Stammkunde wird! Sehr empfehlenswert!
