The accommodation was spacious and very clean. However, as dog owners we unfortunately had a bad experience with the owner. It was only a few days after booking, when free cancellation was no longer possible (via booking), that we were informed, with reference to the house rules, that bringing a dog would cost 25 euros per day "just for disinfection". We would have been happy to hear this information during the booking process, but not having to go and pay anyway was of course not an option for us. On the day of arrival we received an invoice for the cleaning fee with the note that we could pay via Paypal. When we left after the overnight stay, the owner was very angry about some dog hair on the bed linen, which he now had to dispose of. He also insinuated that I did not want to pay the 25 euros because I had "not put it down". I then reminded him of the invoice on which Paypal was stated as a payment option. Once he had calmed down a bit, we agreed that I would pay a little more than the agreed fee because the bed linen was supposedly no longer usable. Unfortunately, I did not receive any thanks for our cooperation.
