Pro: bed has vibration massage mattress, bathroom has bathtub and music player. staff were friendly , place was clean Con: the lady boss, a little rude and grumpy most of the time except when we told her we will hv dinner & breakfast at the hotel restaurant and when we were checking out. no air conditioning (they claim it’s built into the ceiling though we found no vents)

We had a 12 day bike tour on the Danube trail and our tour company chose this hotel for us. It was the best on our tour. Modern and top quality room. We were also happy with our dinner here. Our server, Lara (?) was exceptional and always had a big smile. The owners greeted us and had a nice conversion. Very friendly. Without a doubt, we would stay here again.

ein sehr schönes haus in einer wunderschönen umgebung. ich hatte ein zimmer im zweiten stock mit blick auf den parkplatz. die ausstattung des zimmers war recht neu und es ist slles vorhanden. das frühstück ist top und das personal ist ausgesprochen freundlich und hilfsbereit, gerne wieder

Nur Restaurant bewertet! Essen um die Mittagszeit, nur wenige Tische besetzt, trotzdem brauchte die Suppe entsetzlich lange. Die Qualität der Speisen ist zu vergessen, alles Halbfertigprodukte aus dem Großhandel, wie wir am harten Tafelspitz und am ebensolchen Naturschnitzel feststellen mussten. Das Ganze bei gehobenem Preisniveau! Den Nachtisch haben wir lieber nicht ausprobiert!

Die Zimmer sind großzügig ausgestattet, Betten und Bettwäsche sehr gut. Badezimmer ebenso. Der Empfang war professionell und sehr freundlich. Das Restaurant sehr gut, Weinauswahl nicht groß, aber gute Qualität. Die Lage an der Donau wunderschön. Radabstellplatz urig, in einem alten Nebengebäude.

Es waren 5 sehr erholsame Tage im Hotel Donauhof. Ich hatte ein sehr sehr schönes und modernes Zimmer, welches wirklich geräumig war, mit Blick auf die Donau und Blick auf das Stift Melk. Das Bad war sehr großzügig und das Zimmer war kuschelig warm. Das Zimmer war sehr sauber!! Frau Pichler und das gesamte Personal waren sehr freundlich und wenn ich extra Wünsche hatte, wurden sie erfüllt. Auch das Essen war vorzüglich, alles in Allem war ich sehr zufrieden und hatte einen schönen Aufenthalt, obwohl es 4 Tage geregnet hat. Ich bin entspannt wieder zurück nach Wien gefahren.

Leider wurden wir um € 13,10 vom Kellner geprellt, die Entschuldigung sehr dürftig, die Chefin unfreundlich, nie wieder in dieses Lokal. Scheinbar kann sich der Betrieb kein ordentliches Personal leisten!

Leider hat schon der Check In mit einer langen Wartezeit begonnen und auf die Bitte das Zimmer zu bekomment wurde mann weggewiesen mit der Begündung die Buchhaltung sei wichtiger und andere Gäste wuren einfach vorgezogen. Das Zimmer war dann wieder eine positive Überaschung und sehr modern. Leider kann der Speisesaal da nicht mithalten Die Krönung war jedoch der Service und die Küche wo mit einem einfachen "Trinken?" nach den Getränkewünschen gefragt wird und eine "Käseplatte" mit Toastschinken garniert wird! Schließlich haben wir die Reste der am Vortag servierten Käseplatte dann am Frühstücksbuffet wieder gefunden. Ob das den Hygienevorschiften entspricht wage ich zu bezweifeln.

Sehr freundlicher, unkomplizierter Empfang. Geräumige, sehr saubere, modern und geschmackvoll eingerichtete Zimmer (mit Blick auf die Donau, Betten mit Matratzen mit Massagefunktion, Minibar, Flatscreen-TV, Leih-Regenschirm, Leih-Rucksack, Safe, uvm.) mit ebenso großzügigem, modernem Bad. Äußerst umfangreiches Frühstücksbuffet, da bleibt ja kein Wunsch mehr offen. Sehr freundliches und aufmerksames Personal im ganzen Haus. Viele Parkplätze direkt am Haus. Perfekte Lage des Hotels direkt an der Donau und die Donaubrücke in Sichtweite. Ideal um von hier aus die Wachau zu erkunden, oder einen Abendspaziergang an der Donau zu machen. Wir hatten eine ganz herrliche, unvergessliche Woche, haben sehr viel gesehen und erlebt und dabei wunderbar abschalten und uns erholen können. Hatte auch schon lange nicht mehr so gut geschlafen! Wir können das Hotel Donauhof nur wärmstens empfehlen. Sollte uns eine Urlaubsreise wieder auch nur in die Nähe bringen werden wir ganz gewiss wieder im Hotel Donauhof um ein Zimmer anfragen. Aufgrund der komfortablen Ausstattung und des erstklassigen Service bewerten wir den Übernachtungspreis für ein Hotel dieser Kategorie mit "günstig".
