Only stayed here for one night, but it was really good here. Great view. Super nice hosts. We were lucky with the weather when we stayed here It was nice to see a deer pass just about 40 meters from me early in the morning. The deer probably didn't think I was nice, and ran away quickly Not a very long drive down to Oban. Great town.

Once again we enjoyed a lovely stay at Aspen lodge. The journey there and back was the only negitive with the torrential rain and wind. Fortunately for us the sun came out and we had a lovely day on Saturday where we discovered the lovely Seil island and Easdale. Carol is the perfect host and the breakfast was lovely. Its a pity we could not eat out on the patio this time due to the weather. The rooms were spotless. We were the only guests at the lodge this time so we enjoyed the undivided attention from Carol.

An amazing B&B located just outside Oban with amazing views. I received a very warm welcome from Carol upon my arrival. The room was light, bright and airy and cosy. Great restaurants and Bars located just a short drive away. I opted not to have breakfast as I was still full from my meal from the night before. I would highly recommend this as a base for anyone looking to visit Oban and the surrounding area.

How do you sum up Aspen Lodge? In a word magnificent!! I think the first thing to strike me was the warmth of welcome. Secondly the views from the lodge are stunning. So peaceful and tranquil its location overlooking Ben Cruachan were my perfect setting for an early morning Pilates session on the decking before breakfast. How do you describe the breakfast offering? Simply Scottish hospitality on a plate! The hosts Bob and Carol could not do more to make your stay a success and one of the local restaurents 'Coast' is a must visit. All in all a very happy three night stay in Oban and one I am so looking forward to repeating.

To say we well well looked after is an understatement. The rooms are stylish, comfortable and well equipped. With lovely linen, toiletries and treats. This breakfast offers great and quality food. The facilities allow you to feel out in the country and enjoy the balconies ever changing views of the landscape while still being under 10 mins from Oban town. This was our second visit and cannot wait to go again.

Most excellent 1 night stay, what a location & views! Carol is a smashing hostess & welcomed us upon arrival with genuine enthusiasm. The room we stayed in was very nice, clean, comfortable & cosy with underfloor heating & a grand bathroom with piping hot water. Breakfast was jolly nice made with quality produce which set us up for the days adventures. 100% recommend & would definitely stay again.

Absolutely wonderful. Breathtaking views, peaceful and secluded, yet luxurious, and spotlessly clean... and one of the tastiest breakfasts i've ever had. Plus it's a beautiful walk down to the harbour. Thank you Carol. Highly recommended.

Simply THE place, if you stay in Oban and wanna have the city near. Only 10min to city center, but in a remote and secluded area with rooms who have the most wonderful views when waking up in the morning. The rooms are beautifuly decorated with much love to detail. We simply loved everything about it and we‘ll come back for sure!
