We had a great time there. The room is cozy and the hosts are nice. Definitely recommend it.

Absolutely lovely place to stay! Absolutely lovely place to stay. My husband and I stayed for just 2 nights before tying the knot in Appin. We arrived early and didn’t expect to be able to check in until the booked time, but they went out of their way to accommodate us early. The room was very nice and clean, and the whole property was gorgeous, beautifully decorated and has amazing character - also with a fantastic view! They also supplied our room with tea, coffee and a mini fridge pre-stocked with some breakfast/snacks! The property is quite close to everything, we were able to walk everywhere we needed to go in Oban from the property! We couldn’t have picked a better place to stay!

Staying in Oban is challenging - the location of Blair Villa is a benefit and a liability, depending on how you see it - located on the highest road atop the town, it doesn't have any noise or neighbor issues, but you might not want to climb the hill after a evening's merriment. The room was comfortable but small, with breakfast offered in a takeaway bag rather than a buffet, and everything seemed well kept although we didn't get to chat with the owner much.

Alec was a lovely host. Oban offered tasty food and a pleasant walking. Easy to find our way about.
