Ardtorna

Had a lovely stay at Ardtorna, Karen was a great host and organising breakfast for us slightly earlier one morning was no trouble at all. Brilliant views and a beautiful room, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! Despite the weather, I managed to enjoy the private balcony which was an added bonus, would recommend a stay here!

From driving up the lane to Ardtorna to driving back out 2 days later, the only way to describe our stay was perfection! Karen is an amazing host and you can feel the love she has for her B&B through every thing she has done to the property and what she continues to do on a daily basis, nothing is too much trouble, if you require fresh milk just ask, if you need advice for the local area Karen has endless knowledge and knows the best restaurants and places to visit. We traveled to Scotland in an electric vehicle, not expecting to see a car charger on site we were pleasantly surprised, it was so easy to use, a quick word with Karen and the charger was switched on and ready to go, Karen has an app which told her exactly how much we used and the cost was added to our bill. (2 chargers on site, we charged over night both evenings) Our room was stunning and very comfortable, the little touches to the decor and equipment added a touch of elegance to the room, the wi-if wasn’t amazing but the area of outstanding beauty and its location means there has to be a small negative somewhere, but this wasn’t an issue, I used the living room to make a call and didn’t struggle to speak to my Granddaughter back home. The treats in the corridor, the coffee station and honesty book at the bar with an endless choice of drinks all adds to the luxury of this beautiful B&B. Breakfasts was very good with quality ingredients and lots of choice, something for everyone and yet again Karen couldn’t do enough for her guests. I would recommend this B&B to anyone wanting to stay in the Oban area, we found the location to be excellent for exploring our first few days in Scotland.

Beautiful stay in a beautiful environment. Could have stayed longer. Beautiful room with everything on it. Super stylishly decorated too. Breakfast was great. You could choose up to 12 different breakfasts. As icing on the cake, we were lucky enough to see 2 small deer walking in the garden at breakfast. The host Karen is great and makes you feel 100% at home

We stayed for 2 nights to celebrate our 40th Wedding Anniversay after a recommendation from one of my friends. I can honestly say that we were not disappointed with anything at all during our stay at Ardtorna. The accommodation was beautifully decorated throughout and we found Karen very welcoming, warm and friendly. We had a lovely meal delivered to our room on the first night which was beautifully presented and very very tasty. Our room was amazing with a private balcony with stunning views over Loch Creran all thanks to the unexpected great weather for this time of year. Would not hesitate to return to Ardtorna. The B&B is situated in the beautiful area in the woodland . The window of my room had a fantastic view of loch . Also the B&B is newly renovated so is clean with Modern style . The only downside the breakfast is served in a big table with other stranger . I found it uncomfortable having a break fast with the strangers in the big table like a family . I prefer my personal space when I am on Holliday .
